@wanyeburkett My brother, who was thoroughly disillusioned in the U.S. at one point, had to travel abroad for work. Upon his return, he said he nearly kissed the ground, he was so grateful to be back on American soil. Easy to bicker and argue about the finer points with so much going well.

Although anecdotal, this was the same story told by the thousands in the months and years after rent price control in NYC. Arbitrary policies create arbitrary incentives and tradeoffs in the market, which disallow individual actors in the market like small families to succeed.
