There's a regular cycle of panic around painkillers, antidepressants, stimulants, sleepers, HRT for menopause, pills for impotence, any novel therapies that catch the eye of the press- This sets the precedent that any of them could get an overnight ban without clinical reasoning.

We launched our #Trans & #Nonbinary Traveller solidarity fund earlier this week. You can apply for small grants to go towards clothes, treatments, cosmetics etc. No age limit. No means testing. Treat yourself on us. Again- if you can benefit, apply!

I may be mad, but this is a good thing in a weird way: It's an admission that gender-criticalism isn't "Common sense" or "What everyone believes" and that to forward a GC agenda, you NEED to put handpicked cranks in important jobs. Because normal people don't want any of this.

A Barnardo's has popped up not far from me. The playful font gives an innocent vibe which really isn't indicative of the charity's history. God knows how many Scottish Gypsy Traveller children were shipped abroad via Barnardo's. #tinkerexperiments

@thatbloodybird I know right? So there must be thousands of ex-trans people just queuing up to sue their doctors, after all, puberty blockers have been used for 30+ years, and HRT has been since before any of us were born... And yet somehow there's only about half a dozen who ever materialised.

At risk of killing the mood, it is terrifying that all week at Glastonbury I have seen hardly any insects. I left my tent's flysheet open all day yesterday, and when I was a kid that would have meant having a thousand midgeys and longdancers in there with me. But today, nothing.

I usually try not to talk much about things that aren't directly in our remit- Ie, things to do with Travellers' rights and culture, LGBT stuff, but Jesus the plan to deport people to Rwanda is just a blood sacrifice of everyday folk to the worst kind of steaming gammon isn't it?

Before the @QueerBritain show, we were talking about meaningful objects, and it was hard to think of something that unified us all as Travellers, as disparate peoples with different histories, practises, cultural touchstones... But what we all shared, was the hostile boulder.

URGENT CALL TO ACTION: @DianaJohnsonMP has (as we feared) decided to use the Policing, Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill, to try to enact the Nordic Model in England and Wales. This policy will increase violence against sex workers and we need all Labour members to oppose it.
