Scotland hasn't voted Tory for decades, but in 51 years the only Labour government was New Labour. After a period of elation came the slow realisation this meant little to no material difference to Scots. Blair continued Thatcher's policies and, again, Scots votes meant nothing.

the labels of personality disorders have always been designed to kill. they are meant to mark out marginalised people with severe trauma as non-treatable. they pathologise and dehumanise vulnerable people in much the same ways neurodivergence is marked out as wrong as a whole.

The wipe out of Labour in Scotland is directly linked to independence, but it's not that it's the only thing Scots care about. It's that indy represents decades of marginalisation at the hands of Westminster and offers a way out. It's not nationalism, it's self determination.
