This law is so good and yet I had an employer try to trap me in the building until the owner came to write a check when I quit. Glad they didn’t try me other than just yelling at me to “get back here right NOW 😡” and physically moving toward me. Now I know even that was illegal.

(I am aghast and yeah that NDA might come up but those don’t apply when you do a crime to someone, not at all, that is a manipulation tactic)
I’m not sure HOW this qualifies as a crime but I know it DOES. Lawyer up yo, and I hope you have restful thought today.

I actually think this might be the case, there’s also a website that pops up when you Google (or was) that described horrible outcomes of “failing” at each method. I feel duped now in the best way. Better that’s the top hit than a list of things that might work “great”
My take is that this is why I thought I had heavy periods for years and years, because they measured it in “how many pads”
When I used a menstrual cup I was like…oh my period got lighter. And people on Reddit credited the cup.
Now we have some answers…but in retrospect:
I am just gonna need to go sit down in a dark corner and be quiet for a minute. They haven’t been testing period products with *blood*, let alone actual endometrial tissue

The best thing I can think of is also to pay a human to do what the rest of us wish we could do, which is help in person.
Let us know if there are limitations on how someone could help if they are present and being helpful.

They take out your intestines as far as I recall ? Then they worry that they twisted it up putting it all back in, and you stay in the hospital until you poop b/c otherwise…a big problem.

I’d be glad to be sued by them, they went out of business. For color, this was a crochet manufacturing shop run entirely by conservative white women. So it was actually super intimidating in the weirdest way.

CORRECT. Eye color factors in. Blue and Green are way more up the hierarchy than Brown. I have brown eyes and I was desperate for green lol

So I’ve thought about this a bit, and the gap is between the idea of “anyone can leave” against a material system for *helping* people leave when they want to.
Marriage can be extremely cult like, and all that moderates against culty-ness there is divorce/alimony/etc.

Instead of free college, a free four years of only focusing on getting every little ache and pain treated, for everybody. Like PT and whatever the heck else. Idk I just can’t wrap my head around people not being in pain, it’s too easy to minimize our own pain as we get used to it

It’s like a whole domestic violence warning sign when a man wants to control our hair so it’s 100% possible a man felt he had lost control and divorced someone over this
@David_NeverDave
It’s a big part of the soup of telling pain patients that the pain is caused by their own negativity. I have many criticisms of CBT, but it’s just a tool that people using harmfully. If a provider doesn’t believe in pain in the first place, they’ll misuse any tool.

The interesting takeaway I had from growing up in it is that *christian* ritual abuse is actually common. My mom went through an exorcism, which was itself the ritual abuse. Always a projection with those folks

They do get tired of it. I’ve never had managers be more annoyed by something than having to interview a string of people. Especially when they already mentally picked someone and are going through the motions lol

there’s a lot to it. people are surprised when i say that “automated” button sewing machines don’t even tie a knot, just trim the thread. look at most button down shirts and you will see that there’s a loose bit in the front where the thread was cut, not tied shut at all!

In the US at least, assault is an attempt and battery is a success at touching a person in this way. Not a lawyer and the law rarely helps, but language-wise, feel free to use a stronger word here!

POTS fam, my gastro system does not function without carbonated drinks and I’d like to kick Coke.
What’s your fav carbonated salty drink? That’s gotta exist.
I’ve been pouring sparkling mineral water into my Gatorade but it’s only okay.

This kinda clarified why I’m assumed to be able to pass and I’m “just not trying”. I’m white and thin. So though those are advantageous they also don’t make me automatically have access to stealth either. Just talking about assumption methods here it’s interesting

There is no way to chemically price compromise on a removable adhesive anything! It’s an expensive chemical thing to make. If you’re covering a fridge with something sticky for under $200, and your house gets hot once, all bets are indeed off

Reminds me of how lucky we were with Helper. She was an abandoned kitten screaming outside the apartment for hours. Even after we dug her out of 2 (two) cars, there was no promise she would be fine!
@David_NeverDave
I would also say that CBT is often described as “cheaper” than other treatments, which I can’t attest to, but a lot of the push for it has financial interests like anything else. The big problem is people trying to “expand the market”
@LolOverruled
It’s still a class based thing. I’m at an expensive hospital right now for a slipped disk and I’ve gotten morphine at the last one and a couple oxy here.
I went to an expensive out of pocket dental surgeon and also got opiates (from a clinic that “doesn’t prescribe” them)

Dentist was like “let’s get these out before you get old”

He was also negging me when he thought I was 20.
I ran out of the chair, knew his deal.

It is an FDA approval thing! Someone spent the money to test it for other body areas; as the FDA does nooooot pay for anyone’s product testing, it’s just that someone dropped the cash. But they were smart to.

I figure afab was intended to include trans men which I appreciate; I’m trying to switch to “marginalized genders” myself, even though I can’t always remember the phrasing offhand yet. “Woman” and “afab” both kinda seem to exclude folks I guess

Pretty much the only way to win is wear things that re-size themselves. A wrap dress or a skirt that ties together or a kimono are really the right angle imo.
