@AyoCaesar @Cindrogriza I’m pretty sure this is how 99% of the “scary trans in public!!!” stories actually went. A trans woman did something innocuous, a transphobe either twisted it deliberately or legitimately misheard but didn’t bother to question it making no sense, and smeared her in a tabloid. 🙄

@Jamie49672470 @rivbutcher Oh, they’ll call trans men “women”. But only when doing so serves transphobic ends. If trans men need anything that women need, they’ll deny it on the grounds that “it’s not for men”, but if trans men want to be respected as men then “you’ll always REALLY be a woman” 🙄

@llewelly @nataliereed84 And the fact that once you get into bonsai, the lines of what can count as a “tree” starts to include pretty much everything that gets even a little bit woody and doesn’t have a *very* short hard limit to it’s lifespan. I have a basil bonsai, case in point.
