@Seth_3773 Perfect! As a former JUCO HC, we'd attract those D2, D3, NAIA guys and be able to give them 350-400 ABs and 100 innings in higher leverage situations rather than being relegated to weekday garbage time...most took advantage and upped their stock considerably and were 4yr ready.

@Seth_3773 Rosters all over the country regardless of level are full of JUCO guys that are making impacts...your 4yr degree will still say the place you ended up. It's a win developmentally and financially for most.

@UmpScorecards Should relegate the bottom 20% of umpires to AAA and promote the top 20 of AAA umpires...a little incentive. This would be no different than sending a player down to get more work with less pressure.

@espn Still don't see how this grows the game. It's like saying, you know what I'm a Marvel fan, but those 3:10 movies are way too much... Let's cut it to 2:45 and all of a sudden I'm a fan again... You either watch baseball or you don't. 20 minutes isn't a deal breaker to most fans.

@Javi_DeJesus13 I played in a 3 high school town where all 3 schools were very competitive, so we all played American Legion (before AAU explosion) and it was a way to represent your city with the guys you battled all year. Played 50 games with solid competition. Was more strict than HS.

@OhioWarhawks I think it's more that the college season goes forever...some schools have semesters that end around May 1 or shortly thereafter...the WS is in mid to late June...that's 6 full weeks for those teams...5 for those in super regionals and a full month for all in the tourney.

@SwagnShades Yup...they had the JUGGS gun and the Ray (what they called it). JUGGS was out of the hand, Ray was at the plate...so you'd regularly see 90 and 85 on the same pitch with 2 different scouts.
