I see dozens of these supposed custom heart animation tweets everyday, but this is the first one that actually works for me!
Like this 'X' to see if it works for you too 🍪

Coming soon… 👀
A highly customised Home Screen setup using iOS 16 on the iPhone 14 Pro. This setup:
• Hides the dock
• Uses custom icons
• And automatically switches to a dark theme at night.
Keep an eye out!
Still so impressed by Night Sight on the Pixel 3. Image on the left is what my eyes saw, image on the right is with night sight switched on.
Despite all the leaks, I'm still super hyped for the Pixel 4.
Yo
@Mrwhosetheboss
- thank you SO much for featuring me and my app Palette in your recent video.
Outrageously cool to see my face pop-up - I'm a HUGE fan of your videos 🥳🎉
Firstly, I don't need music controls integrated within the notification shade. They were always accessible within 1 swipe anyway and now I've lost a row of toggles in the notification panel (even when music isn't playing).
At least let me have 9 toggles when no music is playing.
Yo, so
@MKBHD
said in his recent CMF Watch review, that despite claims it's made of metal, it actually kinda feels like plastic.
Well... I've actually thought the exact same thing about the Nothing Phone's back panels too. They say they're glass, but by golly they feel A LOT
You're not gonna believe what my camera landed on today...
Yep, my Pixel 7 that I had only just started reviewing.
@madebygoogle
- any chance of getting another review unit? Pretty please 🙏🏻🥺
There's still a black or white bar behind the navigation pill in most third party apps (see below). Though this was the same in Android 10. Just don't know why this hasn't been addressed yet.
The updated notification system, along with all of the different categories is harder to get my head around. I find myself having to sift through notifications more now than I ever have before. And I don't want to have to manually setup categories so it works how I want it to.
Anyway, all that to say, the Android 11 upgrade isn't worth the effort (for me).
I enjoy using my rooted Pixel 4 XL more with
@lawnchairapp
set as the default launcher, then I do using Android 11 with the stock pixel launcher.
Okay, rant over. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Unpopular opinion: Material You on the new Pixel 6 devices is awful.
Everything from the full screen notification shade, to the app drawer, to the volume and brightness sliders... It just looks no good 📛
Am I the only one who thinks this?
Sad that my old Galaxy Z Fold 2 has joined the club of Samsung Phones having issues with expanding batteries.
This has been sitting out, on display for a while (i.e. not in a box), but alas, it's gone 😭
Hot take: Android is way better at transferring data to new devices. Like, WAY better.
iOS is so slow and so unreliable in comparison, it’s actually wild.
Apple has made moving over data from one iPhone to a new one really seamless. But the actual process of getting things going after that — logging into apps again etc — takes hours. Ultimate first world problem, but certainly Apple is working on this as the next step.
New video is LIVE 🥳
I recently switched back to using the Nothing Phone (1) to see how it had evolved after a bunch of software updates.
So, here are all my thoughts, in this 6 Month Later review ➡️
Enjoy!
So, I've been in the market for some new earphones for a while and luckily enough,
@nothing
was very kind in sending me a review unit of the Ear (2)s.
And I gotta say, I'm impressed.
Fit is fantastic and SUPER comfortable, design is amazing, sound
Whilst it might be more convenient to have smart home controls visible in the power menu, it now just looks way more chaotic and makes actually turning off the phone (which is what I use this menu for 99% of the time) a more confusing task.
The only features that are actually an upgrade are improved privacy, the share sheet (which was already pretty solid in Android 10), and choosing which apps open which links (which is just a fix from a dodgy upgrade in Android 10).
And more than that, even using standard three button navigation (with or without a third party launcher) feels jankier compared to stock gestural navigation (i.e. the animations aren't as smooth).
Nothing Phone (2) is in the house!
As per usual, I won't be providing coverage on this phone just yet. I'll be using it for at least a month before sharing my in-depth thoughts on it.
But if there's anything specific you wanna know, drop a comment below!
@nothing
🦑
I've got four hopes for the Nothing Phone (2):
1. Improved haptics
2. Improved fingerprint sensor
3. A top tier telephoto lens (either 3, 4 or 5x)
4. A cleaner, more seamless camera capturing experience.
Everything else about the Phone (1) is AMAZING. These four changes alone
Dear
@madebygoogle
Please let us remove the At A Glance and Search Bar widgets on the Pixel Launcher home screen in the final release of Android 12.
Oh, and as a bonus, let us hide apps from the app drawer.
Yours sincerely,
Android Customization Fans
Call me old fashioned, but I'm still someone who thinks unlocking root access on an Android phone is STILL worth doing in 2022.
In fact, I think it's so worthwhile I made a brand new video showcasing 10 reasons why!

RTs are AMAZING!
After over six months of development, my second ever application "Shelf" is officially available on the Playstore!
And of course, I’ve made a detailed video breaking down the entire app ➡️
This one is really special, so RTs and 💙 are HUGELY appreciated!
Underrated feature of iPhone displays... they don't flicker AT ALL when on camera.
I always need to use some sort of screen dimming feature when filming Android phones to prevent the displays from flickering (even then, Samsung displays still always flicker).
Who wants to see a sneak peek at the HUGE redesign coming to Palette in the next month or so??
If this post gets 500 likes, I'll share 4 of my favourite screenshots.
You guys are gonna LOVE it 😍
Heard about this earlier today, downloaded and installed it, and within seconds I was sending and receiving iMessages, WITH typing indicators and reactions.
This is WILD 🤯
Proud to share our new app: Beeper Mini - iMessage client for Android
- Runs locally on your phone (no cloud server in the middle)
- Fully end-to-end encrypted
- New design

Here's a theory: Google's two lenses on the back of the Pixel 4 are actually an ultra wide and a telephoto, and they'll use a combination of both and software trickery to achieve the standard field of view lens. If anyone could do it well, it would be Google.
Well, after nearly a year in development, my very own application "Palette" is officially on the Playstore! And I've made an in-depth video breaking down the entire app.

And so… here it is! Your one stop guide for anything and everything related to customizing iOS 16 (using the iPhone 14 Pro).
This one was weeks in the making, so I hope you like it 🎉
As always, RTs and 💙 are very much appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sneak peak of a video I'm working on. This is the home screen I shared earlier, currently being rocked on the OnePlus Nord!
What's your current home screen setup?
Who's ready for some promo codes? I'm gonna be posting 50 promo codes to the Premium version of Lumina Walls randomly throughout today 🎉
I'm also gonna select 10 random followers who repost this post in the next 24 hours and send them a Lifetime promo code.
Good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
For anyone interested, whilst it's hard to know for sure, I reckon Palette has aquired 30K new users since this shout-out.
And that's without a link in the description.
Pretty mind-blowing stuff 🤯

Well, two months after the Galaxy S23 Ultra's release and after an extended period using it, I am SO happy to be FINALLY bringing you my full, in-depth review.

Enjoy 😘
Hey
@madebygoogle
- you know what would be huge? Creating an iOS version of the Google Messages app 🤯
Make it an account-based messaging platform with RCS + text messaging built in (for devices that support it). Give everyone with RCS support dark blue bubbles, then give light
Who would have thought that after all this time (a year and a half), I'd still be using this very home screen setup?? Definitely not me!
But I just find that it toes the line between form and functionality so beautifully.
Anyone else using a similar setup?
Been a while since I've covered open source apps on the channel, so I'm starting to build up a bit of a list again.
So perhaps you can help? Let me know some of your favourite Open Source apps down below 👇🏼
Hot take: Android 12 was the great equalizer with iOS.
Up until then, there was a pretty big difference between the two in terms of overall fluidity.
On top of that, it was pretty much entirely up to individual app developers to make their apps feel smooth.
@Mrwhosetheboss
It's not your video man! I've always found my own Xiaomi videos perform worse than others, especially straight after release. I've actually decided to stop reviewing them as a result...
My long-term review of the Nothing Phone (2) has finally gone LIVE 🎉
This was a phone I was SO excited to review. Do you think it lived up to my lofty expectations?
Watch here to find out ➡️
I think this is the quickest period of growth I've experienced in the entire history of the channel 🥳
Hit 400K at the end of November, now 450K 😲
