The Minnesota Uber/Lyft Drivers Association (MULDA): is an association of drivers for various app-based companies that promotes fairness, justice, and trnsprncy
@austinahlman
When we first visited him to advocate for fair pay and to stop wage theft, he thought we were a threat to his TNC partners. Yet, when he needed our votes, he showed up at our doors. Only later did we realize he prioritizes corporate interests over our wage protection
If you are smallest business with the lowest revenue in Minneapolis, the mayor decides the city minimum wages you have to pay, but if you are multibillion company, you cant afford the cityโs minimum wage, so mayor lets you decide how much you want pay.
It's really bad that this driver received less than 25% of what the rider paid. It seems like
@Lyft
and
@Uber
are rushing to exploit drivers before laws are put in place. Where is the
@MayorFrey
?
Breaking News! Victory for the drivers as the TNC Protection Bill will be signed by the governor. A big thank you to all the local and state officials who made this possible!
@CNN
This is scare tactics that uber used in other cities that did not work. They canโt leave because they donโt own anything, we drivers own everything and operate it, except only software.

Drivers Back on the Road Thanks to MULDA Support!
Weโre excited to announce that more drivers are back on the road, thanks to MULDA's support during their account reviews. We stand with drivers who deserve a fair review after being deactivated due to a misunderstanding by TNCs.
@StarTribune
It is great news. When uber and lyft started, they started from zero. Now everyone starts rideshare company with 10 years of experience. Best alternative best time.
Yes, Mayor, the minimum wage is now a worker's right in Minneapolis. Why would we exempt billionaire corporations from minimum wage policies? Shouldn't we deserve a minimum wage like our other counterpart workers in the city?
@OmarFatehMN
Thank you Senator Fatah, We the MULDA drivers know how hard you stood by us. We won and Governor Walz lost, because he sided with Uber/Lyft. As you mentioned The governor never reached us and never invited the drivers to hear our stories. He just listened Uber
@maxnesterak
Does anyone buy that. They said similarly everywhere and they are still there even when bills with better benefit like sick leave than our bill was passed and signed.
@GovTimWalz
plz pass the bill and flow fellow counterparts that protected their workforces from TNC abuses.
This is another ride, is it fair pay for the driver to go to Duluth 2 hours and 49 minutes for $124.95? This is the take home nobody knows how much the customer got charged? Also, the driver will return back empty. This is why we need fair pay.
@MplsWard9
@GovTimWalz
MULDA and all the drivers are still striking at MN state Capital in front of the Senate hearing asking Fair pay, justice, accountability, and safety. Drivers are also, asking all the Senators to support SF2319, no profit over people.
@Uber
@lyft
Riders are overcharged and drivers are intentionally underpaid. We provide all tools except software, which should count less than 10% of the services!
@kystokes
@MayorFrey
Right, when uber and lyft were newcomers and dismantled the taxi industry,
@MayorFrey
stood with them and even authored the ordinance for them. We are happy CM are doing their job even if TNC owns the mayors.
Fake message from
@uber
to our drivers. Dont cry if you wanna leave.
@mspairport
every driver receives the fake message. You are not alone if u received this message. As drivers, we are all receiving it. Discard it. U will win!

HF2369 Bill is on your desk. Plz sign for Minnesotan protection against corporate exploitation.
When we unite and organise together, we win!
The bill SF2319 which MULDA and our wonderful lawyer Mr Stephen Cooper wrote to protect Uber/Lyft drivers passes Minnesota Senate. And the house Passed 3 days ago the HF2369. Huge shoutout to Mulda for not giving up.
Mulda is asking all the drivers to show up at the state Capital. Today is gonna be a historic day our bill SF2319 is scheduled at the senate. When the senate passes our bill, it will go to the Governorโs office and he will sign.
Sign the bill Governor, drivers deserve fair pay, protection, dignity, justice. Donโt listen Cooperate over your constituents. Donโt listen Uber/Lyft over people. Donโt silence us. We have been sitting your office days.
This afternoon, MULDA organized drivers at the State capital to show Governor
@GovTimWalz
, itโs time for him to sign the bill. The drivers have a vote and voice.
We've achieved our initial milestones for driver sign-ups. Now, we kindly ask riders to complete their sign-up process.

Press conference released yesterday by Minnesota Uber/Lyft drivers Association towards Governor Walz about the driver protection or Uber/Lyft driver bill that he Vetoed May 26th, 2023.
@nytimes
@GovTimWalz
favored corporates who exploited poor drivers. The bill was passed by 10 committees, but to say it needs study, you
@nytimes
dont need direction of the game. Migrant drivers are highly exploited by
@Uber
@lyft
here in MN
@Tim_Walz
is happy with that.
The new rideshare service in our market is now live. The (TNCs) that have been exploiting our drivers can no longer claim they are the only option, as we now have a viable alternative serving our Minnesotan communities. Join us in welcoming Wridz Rideshare Company to our market.
Rideshare companies cant leave or stay anywhere coz they dont own any assets on the ground. Drivers own everything and operate everything. All rideshare companies own is software application on the internet. Anyone can own it with or without knowledge. Dont be fooled.

@GovTimWalz
โฉ wants to spend tax payers money on studying Min-Wage, cos TNC said so.
Hello everyone, we are asking every driver to show up at the MN state Capital tomorrow at 1:30pm. United we win and divided we loose. Here is the address
75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard., St Paul, MN 55155.
MN State Capitol:
"What do we want? FAIR PAY! When do we want it? NOW!
Enough is enough. It's time drivers receive the fair wages they deserve! It's crucial for lawmakers to prioritize PEOPLE over PROFIT.

Until you sign the Uber/Lyft driverโs protection bill which is on you desk poverty will never end. Drivers have families, kids, to feed through driving for Uber/Lyft. Your signature will change lives for ever. Do it now. Thank you.
governor
@GovTimWalz
,
@peggyflanagan
, shouldnโt listen cooperate America companies like and Lyft over Mn Uber/Lyft Drivers who voted for him. He should sign the bill.
@FOX9
This is the information about people who fight 4 minimum wages. It is disgrace to see media opposing the demand of the community they claim to represent. No body cares abt u if uโre poor. Even mayor governor will side with richest. 3 vetoes on out belt, because we ask min-wages.
Minnesota Uber and Lyft drivers aren't backing down. Neither are the elected officials who supported their fight in the statehouse. Solidarity with

Government has been determining Traditional Taxi Fares and regulations for over 100Years nationwide, so why not AppBasedTaxi? This is App Based Taxi Business. Gig Companies, who dont have any assets on ground, but software on the cloud exploited 200+ years old labor laws in USA
