My feelings on the upcoming cold spell.. Up until 23rd there will be hit and miss snow for areas in the north. From the 23rd the risk is nationwide with all the UK seeing some kind of snow before the month is out. Getting progressively colder into Feb with big snow events likely

The ensembles are very much in support of the GFS 12z solution. Det. run lies right amongst the main cluster. The lack of significant spread is quite incredible at that range too. Something special is brewing
