I don’t shop online when avoidable. Check hardware stores-I’ve had best luck there. We should all be given monthly credit 4 kn95/n95’s.

Reminder from those of us who lived through the HIV/AIDS crisis years - you don't die of Long-HIV. HIV kills your T-cells until you have AIDS. Then you catch opportunistic infections or get rare cancers from reactivated viruses in your body, and that's what kills you.

@amandalhu I only recently confirmed the brain fog after starting antihistamines & then Nattokinase & serrapeptase. The feeling of “fog lift” is especially apparent after an antihistamine. It’s true, sometimes we get so used to a condition that we don’t recognize it. Same w/subtle anosmia.

A new batch of 3MAura’s converted to ear loops. 1st I remove them from the bags & air out a few days (they stink), cut & tie so knots sit above & below ears. Store in bags until needed. These are much easier for quick off & on situations & still have a snug fit.

@LetsFishSmarter & the constant “moving the bar” has most definitely lowered any sense of social cohesion; I see it even among friends, family & coworkers. So destructive. Anyone who’s raised children knows why you don’t constantly change the rules.

🌻Visiting my brother. 25, surfer, volleyball player, lover of life. College doc said stomach flu. It wasn’t. At some time, an unknown virus had triggered Type 1 diabetes. Untreated, Keto acidosis kills. Averting this requires lifelong insulin. Covid holds a Type 1 trigger too.

@ToshiAkima As Covid appears to be triggering activation of shingles, could this also be the reason for so many of these strokes, particularly in under 40 year olds? This concerns me, as my daughter mysteriously developed shingles in 2020, at just 34.

@CohenZakai @joaquinlife I really see exceptionalism as a key problem in controlling Covid. People fling “elitism” around a lot, but exceptionalism is pervasive in western culture & has less to do with $$’s or education. It’s cultural & it’s embedded early on.

When I was looking into different supplements for Long Covid, I’d often 1st search for the highest food sources before buying pills. That’s how I rediscovered radicchio-it’s extremely ⬆️in Luteolin. I like it raw too, but it sweetens up when braised or roasted. 😋

I’ve been sick 2 wks; call to my health clinic just now: PCR taken 9 days ago, not in still. The PA who I usually see is out-sick. Ask for my MD & learn she’s no longer with them. On-hold soundtrack: “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” 😵‍💫

@JenniferNuzzo What it does mean, is that their prime protection, masking & behaviors, &/or that of others around them, failed. Ultimately, Public Health has failed in their messaging by not warning that vaccines alone are not enough & quality masks must be utilized by all.

@DoctorNatasha Please include to watch for Long Covid &/or other unusual symptoms & warn that even a mild infection can result in illness that may last a lifetime. Or cut that life short. Wish PH was clearly warning parents. And pediatricians, many of whom don’t seem to know either.😢

@drjudymelinek @shvintage Last year, we had my mom over to eat outside. The sun was low & behind her & as she was talking, the droplets were catching the sunlight, highlighting the necessity for some distance outside. Aerosols not so concerning outdoors, but keep the distancing up if unmasked outside!

@AmandaINC The problem with outdoor restaurants is that one has little control over distance. At home or a picnic, etc., one can choose to move further away & assess wind direction. However, most simply think outdoors is magic. Thinking of smoke is helpful outside too.

@brownecfm Advising not to visit the hospital if unwell.🙄 Roughly 50% of transmissions occur from asymptomatic people. If healthcare systems still don’t acknowledge this, we’re just hopeless.😢

@sarahcox_bc Chatting w/a neighbor yesterday, after 5 min he thought to tell us he has Covid 😬20 of his co workers are out, no masks or air filtration on site. He works for Lockheed Martin, whose mission is “protecting citizens” & “advancing the boundaries of science”.🤮
