@jcmmartin65 Too many to say. Funny story in Iowa all the clubs ran these 18 hole two man best ball and superball tournaments. They would flight them after nine. When I took over my club I did the same thing except I would not tell them which nine. The baggers were pissed.

@McLeanGolf will see Jim I think the long ball is one of the things that drew so many people to the game. I also think the game is hard enough without the USGA making it harder for the average golfer, then blaming it on manufacturers and the touring pro's.

Actually played a fairly painless round of golf today, and did not get really tired till 17th and 18. Shot 75 with four three putts (couple from the fringe) Had two tap in birdies and made a 25 footer I was glad the pin was in. Hit the ball well for and old fart. Con

@Top100Rick once hit a 3 wood into the wind from about 215 I cut it because I was sure it was too much club. Ball went out about 150 yds then went straight up about 175 ft then it sort of shelfed and came back to me landed about fifty yds in front of me.

well first round out since my birthday 5 bogeys and a birdie Lol shot my age 75 tickled me played ok for and old fart, still adjusting to strengthening my grip but it seems to give me added hand speed more zip on the ball and I hit it higher. As usual I am exhausted
