Ethnic identity: Kurdish
Religion: Yazidi
Language: Kurdî
Homeland: Erbil/Shexdre, Kurdistan.
Going by your argument Iraq didn’t exist back then but Kurdistan (which simply translates to land of the Kurds) always did.
I was born and raised in Erbil so in middle school on bring your homemade food day. No one would eat my Biryani because i was Yazidi. I felt horrible, i hope kids nowadays are raised better without the stigma around us.
As most of the Ezidis in Sinjar, my family and I were farmers. I was young couldn’t grasp why my family had to hire a Muslim man to take our agricultural crops to Mosul to sell it. But, I gradually learned that no one would buy it from us if we take it, because we were Ezidis.
I’m benefiting from no one, if you were an actual Yazidi or living in Kurdistan with actual Yazidis you would know who’s actually absurd. I’ve never met a Yazidi irl that denies that they’re Kurdish. Only on twitter with their fake accounts and pretending to be a Yazidi.
I respect your freedom to define your own identity, but you cannot impose another identity on the Yazidis. Those benefiting from Kurdish parties, cease your absurdities.
The Indigenous People of Iraq
#assyria
How do we know that the Assyrians/ Chaldeans/Syriacs are the indigenous people of Iraq? One only has to take a shovel and dig it into the ground and the only history found will be that of this people.
I still remember the smell of burned flesh of our neighbor when she burned herself, That’s why i hate it when my mom makes Pacha cuz they smell similar. Mental health is such an ignored topic especially between our boomer generation, I hope we give more importance to it.
According to a report by The Telegraph, it is estimated that self-immolation has claimed the lives of 11,000 women in the Kurdistan region since 1991, although reliable data is scarce as some victims never reach the hospital, which makes the annual average since around 333 cases.
Seeing all these fake accounts causing so much harm to us from “ezdiki” to “sherfedin” to the most recent Armenian drama. We’ve been through so much already please let us be in peace, I’m so mentally tired of always arguing with them.
Please stop.
Y’all better call me Muslim Ezdiki when I hypothetically convert to Islam. Oh, what language do i speak? 🤔…. pass…. I guess they got tired of killing us and now they’re trying to politically fuck us over.
#ToHellWithTheseFakeAccounts
Thank you to all Yezidis and the Iraqi authorities for recognizing our ethnicity.
Yezidis, be proud! Don’t let others decide our fate. Our strength is in unity and justice.
Long live the Yezidi ethnicity, and long live Iraq!

Ooooh.. Shingal.. makes sense, you guys have been infiltrated and Arabized ages ago. I’m a Yazidi Kurd. So is my family. So is my hometown and so if everyone i’ve met.
Imagine how beautiful it would be if everyone wore traditional Kurdish clothes to casual places, like a cafe or a restaurant. Normalize Wearing wearing Kurdish clothes to casual places.
Except i have talked about us and defended us every time i came across a hateful post. Just because my whole account is not about Yazidis like those fake accounts doesn’t mean i’m not. And your pinned tweet says it all about you.
Dude i can’t even wear shorts to a government building let alone walk around “naked” on campus. Wearing niqab is wrong for so many reasons, the main one being security. Not everyone under a headscarf is holier than thou.
The recurring water crisis that plagues many neighborhoods in Erbil during the summer months has resurfaced. In Daratu, a large suburb of Erbil, residents have to rely on water tankers, with each tanker costing between 15,000-25,000 Iraqi dinars.
This crisis has sparked
Certain Kurdish social media pages, including several prominent ones, are replete with stories referring to Shanidar Z, a 75,000-year-old Neanderthal whose skull was discovered in the Shanidar Cave in the Kurdistan Region, as their "grandmother."
Interestingly, quite a large
Walking behind a girl in a semi dark neighborhood is so stressful. You can’t walk fast and you can’t walk slow. I think i scared the shit outta this girl just now because i skipped a few steps when i reached my house. Sorry whoever you are, i didn’t mean to.
@chadassyrian
@athro14
Because it’s a known and common knowledge that those are Kurdish clothes and Assyrians are the ones the right? Is it not? Okay then what’s YOUR argument? Got any “evidence”?
@HoshizoraOW
Can’t for them to complain about not having fun because they keep using covers to survive because the heals are not enough after those changes
@ezidi77312
In what delulu world did we consider ourselves arabs back then?? Seems like Shingal has the habit of selling themselves or worse just controlled and infiltrated.
@pcgamer
It’s funny cuz my account got suspended after buying the bundle and they did not email me why. I sent an appeal but it’s been two days with no answer but i guess I deserve that for being a clown and spending money on the game.
Yes, because that’s what’s ruining the country. Not the corruption. Not the money stealing and not the kissing Iran’s ass by sending them dollars but it’s all the gays.
Proposed law in Iraq allowing marriage for 9-year-old girls raises serious concerns. Violates child rights, impacts health and education. Urgent need to protect childhood and uphold international standards.

What in the brainwashing is this? My guy speaking as if he’s an actual Kurd. If he really was he would know that Kurds are being killed and oppressed in every divided part of Kurdistan. Arab Kurds? No identity?? Be for real.
@XerxesIran_
@HillelNeuer
Really need non-Iranian Kurds to stop speaking for us. We don't want to be separated from Iran. The western border has remained the same since the 1800s. Leaving Iran would be to leave our identities, become weaker and lose our land to Arab Kurds. BIG L for Hillel.
I was harassed by a woman on a London bus today for speaking in Turkish on the telephone. She told me to fuck off to another seat (which I refused). It occurred to me to ask if it was the sound of Turkish that bothered her. That was indeed the case; she proudly confirmed.

Not everyone can afford overpriced junk like you, i mean i can afford it but I’m not supporting greed which bungie is in the pinnacle of greediness at this point. Also “go catch some sun bro”? says the guy with a shelf of video games on his Profile and over 30+ consoles in bio.
@MKjuma19
Honestly all the government needs to do is just clear the negative impact that that author did to our religion. Portraying us as devil worshippers.
Love it when y’all shove the Dua case up our faces whenever a yazidi does a minor inconvenience as if y’all haven’t been massacring yazidis, harassing us and calling us devil worshippers for as long as i can remember, I’m done with the hypocrisy. Tho i dont agree with azats post
Hawleris haven’t gotten paid in months the whole Kurdistan hasn’t gotten paid in months. No Kurd is spending money unless for necessities. Arabs are getting paid comfortably and are basically running the economy of Kurdistan and are taking over the region.

We’ve never read the Quran and my family wears modest simple headscarves to respect their religion since islam is the majority in Erbil and just like how they show us respect when they step barefoot into Lalish.

Oh the name is very much an issue. If you really wanna unite you’d remove that flag in your bio or better just delete all these fake accounts and shut down the operation
I guess Titanic didn’t happen because there’s a movie about it. It’s a goddamn reenactment, does NOT mean it did not happen. dude over here acting as if he discovered the secrets of the universe.
Bullshit.
If she was really being burned, she would be crouching backwards towards the cell going away from the fire instead of holding on to the bars of the cell like some bollywood damsel in distress.
My mom used to have to those 3 in 1 radios where it was a flashlight a stereo and a radio. And she loved to listen to some pretending to be a husband and a wife in the mornings. Sometimes I’d wake up early and we’d listen together. Miss those times.
Sorry to burst your bubble but they still find loopholes around it. There have not been many hate crimes against it but there was a case where they shut down an organization because their logo was pride themed.
As a Yazidi who was born and raised in Erbil, i have seen a drastic change of how the other communities view us. From not being known or mistaken as christians to being hated and despised as devil worshippers to being respected and having our holidays a regional holiday.
How can one do this? The mother of his children, his partner in life, they share meals, a bed and a life together. How can they just take a life that took years to develop in minutes? People never fail to disappoint.
