Absolutely howl inducing moment in Steven Soderbergh's OCEAN'S THIRTEEN, in which they take advantage of the fact Matt Damon was shooting The Bourne Ultimatum at the same time in the same location and do a Linus version of a Bourne scene entirely out of nowhere. Underrated movie!
Steven Caple Jr. is in talks to direct the next ‘TRANSFORMERS’ movie.
The film will deal with the major ending of ‘Rise of the Beasts’.

Didn't realize David Fincher's THE KILLER was actually just a comedy about putting us into the shoes of a horrible assassin who thinks he's the best there is at his job

Every other major character basically represents the best version of every aspect Walt wishes he could be. Even Jesse becomes equally as good as him at the one thing he has over people by the end

Any joke that doesn't land in a Gunn movie is always 100% acceptable to me because it's never out of character, that being said, I find them deeply funny!
@haalamakesfilm
I have grown to like the notion of the one superhero element being a person from Logan’s past returning as a corpse in a CGI suit to literally sucks out his life when he just wants to leave all that behind him
Was watching an interview with Chris Nolan & George Lucas. Lucas describes showing his buddies the rough cut of Star Wars & he then starts talking about an unnamed one who was confused about everything. First thought was "I'd bet anything it was Brian De Palma" & sure enough LOL
Fast X hasn't even hit the 40 minute mark and Dominic Torreto has already managed to play real life Rocket League in Rome and outrun the blast wave of the bomb
@bornposting
He also picked a scene with very little VFX shots! There are sequences made of entirelyu CGI! But he just picks one that's mostly comprised of shots of actors faces? LOL
Remember in James Mangold’s LOGAN when Wolverine has to fight a de-aged clone of himself with the humanity removed that ultimately kills him and the only solution is for a child to have to stand up and blow his damn brains out? Pretty simple, but powerful storytelling I think.
@nodrectionhome
He’s willing to cast Kevin Spacey whilst also knowing full well that he’s guilty but also wants to cast him as a pedophile. A beautiful and dangerous contradiction of a man. Making him the perfect artist in a way!
One of my favorite aspects of DEAD RECKONING PART ONE is when the editing will suddenly break every 180 rule and become insanely disorienting specifically in scenes in which THE ENTITY is discussed.
Or there's also this bit where it turns into the most tilted dutch ever seen.
I sent the “Do You Hear the Music” sequence from Oppenheimer to a friend and she asked if I had edited a bunch of random scenes from the movie together and I had to explain to her that that’s just exactly how the entire film is edited
@JohnDiLillo
I think another reason is doesn’t work is, say, something like Lord of the Rings *could* be remade because the films are very much one filmmaker’s vision and there’s so many other ways you could approach the material, while HP was a lot more collaborative amongst various people
@funEman_
The difference here is the second clip is from an actual good movie that just embraces him killing people instead of a half assed attempt at redemption tbh
Modern blockbusters have proposed that we don't move the camera anymore (or anything creative filmmaking-wise at all) but Fast X proposes: "What if we did?"
