Golar and NFE have been the tale of two stories this year. Ironically they both still have 40%+ upside. FLNG is an interesting spot to be these days
$GLNG $NFE
500 Subscriber Special: Comparing Borr Drilling $BORR with Transocean $RIG, Noble $NE, and Valaris $VAL
Special thank to
@TommyDeepwater
for helping me get this far.
I'm selling a bit of $TITN to buy $NFE. I still like Titan Machinery, but at this price I have to sell something to buy New Fortress, and it's illegal to sell a kidney
Accounts that have never mentioned $RILY before are trying to convince me that the short squeeze is over. LoL the short float was 72% yesterday with 8.6 days to cover. Let's goooooo!!!!!

I have been wrestling with whether to buy the leader or the laggard in a lot of sectors, and it seems like everything I do is wrong, so I am still searching for the answer. It just struck me as odd that $RIG was the leader and the laggard at the same time in a way
@typicalcapital
Wish I had seen this then. I'm a big believer in buying small caps where a large cap has a toehold. Free advice and an eventual acquirer.
I posted a podcast with
@SFarringtonBKC
with his thoughts on several stocks, including $RIG, $SBSW, and $BTU.
We also talked about several stocks higher short interest that he finds interesting. You can find it on my Substack or my YouTube.
Link in bio.
@valuedontlie
$NE is totally left out of the $RIG vs $VAL twitter feud. I kinda like $NE, but I don't want to pay capital gains on my $RIG just to switch
@GringoInvesting
Last earnings call $BTU management said previously planned decommissionings are getting delayed due to AI, so domestic coal has a bit of life left.
I was going to write about ProFrac Holdings $ACDC, but it turned into me dunking on Vermillion Energy $VET, Sandridge Energy $SD, and Peabody Energy $BTU instead.
@RodAlzmann
$VTNR is either $0 or $10, not much in between. For $1.20 it's a great asymmetric setup, and my guess is it's more likely the $10 than the $0
@CaptSJM67
@CSuiteOperator
Everything above $20 on 321 cracks should be good for $VTNR. Still waiting for the results of the JV road show. Capital markets are open, so should be a credible offer for 25%-50% of the refinery to fix the capital structure. RINs should recover in 2025 after the IRA changes.
@charlesbonnerjr
In Tampa I just ask my hispanic neighbors if they know someone. Price gets cut in half if you don't go with the big names at the top of the search
@walststocker
@ChrisMozach
RIN and cracks crashed at the same moment in time, so $VTNR got taken to the woodshed, but I think there's a good chance we see $8-$10 within the next 1-2 years.
@BugHumbled
$RILY has a business segment that will profit from the liquidation. They also underwrote the merger, and lent $CONN the money to pay the closing costs. While RILY would make more if CONN survived, they will still do alright if they struggle
