was saddened to hear of the passing of WW2 Veteran, Rita Hamilton (Women's Royal Auxilliary Air Force). Rita played a key role from being the GOC's personal driver, working out of RAF Castle Archdale to delivering aircrew & depth charges to the seaplanes.
2 x Phenom T1 of 45(R) Sqn, RAF Cranwell carrying out student training for multi engine pilots in the Northern Ireland Low Flying system. In addition, they had the opportunity to gain experience of landing at a busy civilian airfield away from their home base.

for probably the last Tornado GR4 visit to Northern Ireland. The fast jet will officially retire next month. The GR4 has been in service since 1979 and we are very sad to see it go!
Members of the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association NI attended their inaugural networking event on board the National Museum Royal Navy, HMS CAROLINE. A great evening of interaction on board was enjoyed by all those who attended on this wonderful local treasure.
