@sam_d_1995 As someone who puts more miles on my bike than my car and am generally incredibly deferential to cyclists, this would piss me off. I hate it when motorists intrude on bike lanes and this is the same. If they want to take up the width of a car they should ride in the car lane.

@sam_d_1995 Except it defeats the purpose of a bike lane. If you have 4 lanes, 1 in each direction for cars and bikes you should be able to have 2 bikes and 2 cars on the same segment of road at the same time. It’s a different case than overtaking a cyclist riding in the sole transit lane .

The reason they don’t mention it is because if people widely believe you can get a message out by committing suicide you’re going to get more people killing themselves. The AP recommends not publishing the contents of suicide notes for this reason and most outlets adhere to that.
