That's right, folks: The brand spanking new POS INDUSTRIES COMMENTARY OMEGA-REEL is locked, loaded, primed, and ready to show you some of the best fighting game commentary you've ever heard!
Check it out NOW:
The actual single funniest part of Injustice for me is not even the dumpster or pig advantage, it's the fact that it's built in the MK engine, which forces the opponent to stand for fatalities after losing, but there aren't fatalities so they just stand up and fall back down.

Oooh, we got us an immortal observer here, untouched by the inevitable erosion of time, both blessed and cursed to witness the world's whole eternity from the first light of creation to its conclusion in the silent darkness. Wowwwww.
Last year, a dude talked down to me about how he'd take being an Evo champ over $1mil, as he thought he could make MORE money. I said I know enough Evo champs to know you can't, and he was like "I'm not talking about some Sailor Moon R side bracket, I mean people like SonicFox."
"THEY SAID IT WAS ARCADE PERFECT, JERRY!"
"Arcade perfect?"
"ARCADE PERFECT!"
"Well, how was it?"
"WELL, I CLEARLY DIDN'T FEEL LIKE I WAS AT AN ARCADE, DID I?"
"Seems like there was the same amount of screaming kids."
"Oh, HA HA..."
"FGC has been pushing for invitationals for YEARS"
No, top players with five different sponsors that'll be mad if they get bodied by some Joe Schmoe pot monster with a hitbox and a dream have been pushing for invitationals for years.
The Fighting Game COMMUNITY has not.
The FGC vibes are, indeed, immaculate in the sense that we made a former Breitbart writer so mad that he manually blocked every fighting game player on Twitter, and I think that's the real magic behind our scene.
@Brad_Bones
Hearing from reputable sources from development that they had to explain to Ed what crossups were tells you a lot about what happened with those games.
The funniest thing about the "people don't play KOFXV because of identity politics" guy is that's not even his stupidest take.
I'll never forget years back when he was super against rollback netcode simply because he peaked at being a wifi Exdeath in the first PSP Dissidia.
I know about about 7000 views late but yeah uh don't watch this with headphones on.
Maybe turn your volume down, too.
Please don't hurt you're ears! I'm sorry!
"I want to win Evo so that I can network my way into making enough money to buy a big house in a major city and raise a family!"
Ah yes, that's definitely the thing that happens every time.
I've talked about this many times before, but my most hated fighting game thing is when devs want to have long, flashy combo execution but are also too scared of two-touch rounds, so they make you spend 15 seconds hitting your opponent with a wet noodle for 20% of their health.
"Lilith fans don't even play her!"
Bro she has hard as shit execution AND she only gets up to mid-tier if you master her, of COURSE they don't fucking play her!
"No, see, listen, it's great! They're like your Blanka-chan dolls, but they're on the internet and they're procedurally-generated so each one is unique! We'll make a fortune!"
"Grrawr, me not sure, Ken... Pro-seizurely Blanka-chans that not even real sound grrreally stupid..."
Anyway, I got reminded of that while trying to find some other tweet I couldn't find, and, I mean, I get it. I'm not a household name, most people aren't actually going to know who I am.
But of all the people to namedrop when I mention that I personally know Evo champs? My guy.
"Please don't criticize the FG roundtable stream, we wouldn't be playing FGs without them!"
Motherfucker, I'm not playing FGs right now BECAUSE of them.

If a British "journalist" implies that someone is going to meet the same fate as his mother, who died being chased down by a rabid pack of tabloid photographers, I would consider that a threat, yes.
Steam's Woke Detector does not recommend Disco Elysium. My personal highlight, however, is:
"Heavy social commentary regarding communism. Whether pro or anti is unclear."
@LeftAtLondon
Yeah super weird how every single member of a marginalized group is expected to be on their best behavior at all times for the entire group to be, theoretically, treated with basic human decency.

I love videos like this because it proves that, even with modern-day Hollywood's over-reliance on CGI, classic practical effects like simple breakaway props and martial arts choreography can still put on a great show.
I'm glad the North Koreans got to have a fun day out!
Me: "So Weiss is sorta technical with projectile setups and shit to trap her opponent."
RWBY fan coworker: "Yeah, good, that's bow she should play."
Me: "Then you've got Ruby who just sorta runs in screaming and does whatever and it works."
Him: "That's... also accurate."
Capcom Cup 2020:
James: Okay folks, before top 8 begins, who's ready for the Lockheed Martin "IS IT GONNA KILL?" Challenge?
Sajam: Here we are droning on about Street Fighter, but check out these latest drones!
Steve: Make some noise for HENRY KISSINGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

They were most likely crushed instantaneously when the sub imploded on Sunday, which sounds like a gruesome way to go but it happened faster than their brains' ability to process it, so it was actually an entirely painless way to die.
@SP_A_Bad_Idea
For some reason, NRS has come to conclusion that the visual jank inherent in digitizing videos of underpaid actors in 1992 is a "signature style" that must be maintained in their games at all costs, despite everyone with eyes begging them to please stop for the past decade.
Personally, I think it's fine to simultaneously hold the views of "I'm not stupid enough to automatically believe the FGC's most recently-banned toxic weirdo on his revenge stream" AND "if what he says IS true, I also don't really care."
Yes, I have made mental notes on who was spreading this around and, yes, I have gone back to see how they've quietly deleted their tweets while pretending they had nothing to do with it.
And, no, I will not be forgetting.

So you only imagine that there is a joke there but are not actually even sure yourself.
Is the obvious joke obvious or not?
As much as I love team esports, something has really been lost by 1v1 RTS’ drop in popularity.
I miss the excitement of the big tournaments with 32 players, each with a unique flair and style. The stories you can write about RTS players are simply unmatched.
