Abortion makes a women's body and offspring the accountable parties for the social crisis she is experiencing. Is she abused? Blame her body and kill her kid. Is she poor? Blame her body and kill her kid. Is she ambitious? Blame her body and kill her kid. It's all sick.

@emilykmay I cried with relief when my daughter's therapist told me that her evaluation showed that there were significant issues with my daughter. I needed someone to acknowledge the problem to me. I wasn't crazy! There is something powerful about being truthful about the problem.

If we need abortion because of maternal mortality, why do black women have the worst maternal mortality outcomes as well as the highest abortion rates? Shouldn't it be helping them? Or maybe, just hear me out, we can improve maternal mortality WITHOUT killing humans.

Pregnancy 👏 is 👏 not 👏 an 👏 entity. It is a state of being. You always have to be pregnant "with" something. The only way to end the *pregnancy* is to end whatever you are pregnant *with*. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

The one thing an abortion actually does is kill a woman's offspring. It doesn't improve anyone's financial situation, protect from abuse, improve relationships, or finish college. Women speaking of no regret highlight their circumstances but suppress thoughts of their abortion.

🧵It seems that our society has misplaced the location of reproductive rights. I see a lot of emphasis on a woman's right to choose pregnancy. But reproductive rights must be about sex, not pregnancy. How can I have "rights" in a largely uncontrollable biological process?

Do you think that parents who abuse their children are doing a good or a bad thing? Abortion is a bad thing because it involves parents hurting and killing their children. Appeals to bodily autonomy just mask the fact that abortion is killing a vulnerable human relation.

@Men_4_Choice Stop the nonsense. It is stupid to put exclusions on which lives we can protect. You wouldn't like it if I told you you can't care about the dozens of school children who loose their lives until you care about the hundreds of thousands of babies who loose their lives, would you?

You see, even when we can't prevent all murders by making it illegal, we still make it illegal. Because killing kids is evil. And what kind of society would we be if we said, "Well, killing kids is bad but making it illegal won't stop it so let's forget it." Crazy.

@rebecacole @DavidAFrench Respectfully, I don't think you understand anything about freedom if you think that neglecting it results in safer societies...

But if you are going to compare this issue to abortion, please remember in your comparison to locate the issues correctly. 1 kid being killed is too much. And abortion kills them by the thousands each day. And it is LEGAL.

@KGLiebowitz I wish I could say something that would actually be meaningful. But I'm so sorry and I'm praying for you and is all I can muster. Words seem so meaningless right now.
