This truck driver endangered the person on the bike, but in Garda speak it's "plenty of room". Left hooks by HGVs are one of the major causes of death & serious injury to cyclists.

Fully support @RSAIreland appeal on keeping #cyclists safe on Irish roads,having lost our beloved sister #DonnaFox in 2016. @CotterImogen has been an incredible advocate in recent times after her own terrible crash. I don't ask though, I'd tell motorists to obey law. #RoadSafety

@davidcullinane I know it is terrifying not just the horror happening but the attitudes towards it from USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Germany etc Ireland needs to really reflect on direction of EU. Having always been pro EU many of us have serious reservations since actions of #UrsulavonderLeyen
