Just paid £1.20 in City Tourism taxes to stay in a hotel in Manchester. You’d think the city would be empty based on the comments of many about a proposed equivalent in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Spoiler alert - the place is packed and noone is kicking up a fuss. Weird eh
