@McFranchisee @roblabonne I don’t think they were in the same league 5 years ago either. BK has other issues plaguing it and store appearance is just one of them From anecdotal experience, many BKs feel dirty inside, which may be why foot traffic has been declining.

@girdley Many companies do not allow 3 weeks without good cause. Even the companies with unlimited PTO expect 2 weeks at the most

**Update on my deal where the bank pulled the rug out from under me at the last min** 😑 Seller agreed to 82% financing, 18% coming from me directly. Holy crap. 😲😲 Cannot believe this. Motivated sellers produce the best deals. Now let’s hope I don’t screw it up 😂

@SullyBusiness First major change I made in my home services Biz: move from checks only to CC. Yeah it costs 3%, but we cycle revenue WAY quicker, everything updates automatically in Jobber, and people love the free points/rewards Yes it adds up. Doesn’t matter.

Towing company owner told me **today** he wanted $10M for his company, including RE (RE ~$1.5M, adjusted EBITDA around $1M) Searchers are getting impatient. More attention to the space is breeding bolder buyers. Economy is contracting. Not great to see people buying very bland

I had a guy today tell me they would take 4x revenue of $1.5m on a business that maybe has a 25% ebitda margin. (Of course, their alternative is strategic PE backed buyer). These prices are redonkulous. It doesn’t even make sense when you include multiple arbitrage. It’s
