I have #LongCovid and can tell you my body is rapidly aging. Losing eye sight, skin becoming wrinkly losing elastin, hair turning grey, developing two autoimmune diseases. Blood vessels dying. It's like they figured out a way to turn on a genetic process to accelerate aging.

SARS ages you. Aging of the immune system in humans is characterized by a decline in both adaptive & innate immunity. Paradoxically, aging is also associated with a state of chronic inflammation “InflammAging” and an increased likelihood of developing autoimmune diseases.

My pharmacist told me he is filling 5 Paxlovid scripts a day & last month he was filling 5 a month. If SARS-Cov-2 was just a cold, people wouldn't be taking Protease inhibitors like in HIV & Hep C in droves. #LongCovid

Yesterday I had to brave a trip to the DR/RX for an opportunistic mouth infection causing swollen gums/black tongue. There were people coughing and sneezing everywhere. It's disgusting how society just thinks this is OK. #LongCovid

Serum Amyloid A has been found in Spike Protein produced #microclots . SAA amyloidosis has a 10 year median survival rate. It has not been established that Spike amyloids only affect some people. Indeed, it may be a ticking time bomb of #diedsuddenly in billions. #teamclots

@preshitorian @ToshiAkima @Once_Was_Arnold @YouAreLobbyLud @CdrHBiscuitIII @k_eagar @DavidJoffe64 There are so many publications on, at least, prolonged viral persistence from 2020 (of course at that time we couldn't say, as scientifically proven, "chronic" as it was a novel virus). But there was important evidence out, which wasn't addressed fast enough

The linked article goes over several medications that attempt to treat a second theory of damaged hairs cells due to ototoxic medication--here, possibly the spike protein. OTC Ginkgo Biloba may help too.

This is a review article (not a study) saying that the viral persistence in Long Covid is basically caused by obesity. The theory is that the immune system is dysfunctional due to chronic inflammation from obesity, which causes delayed viral clearance. Weak article IMO.
