After 2yrs of masking & 3 vaccine doses COVID finally caught me just in time to get to spend xmas alone in isolation - oh the joys. No close contacts & grateful that my vaccines mean I’m barely symptomatic. Got PCR despite negative antigen test - it was + but Ag still neg today!

@drkeithsiau We HAVE to change the narrative of this rash - it is a sign of septicaemia NOT meningitis & NOT just meningococcal sepsis - GAS/Strep pneumonia etc etc . Healthcare professionals need to be more accurate so that other HCPs and parents get properly informed & educated. #sepsis

From our friends in Italy - we need to wake up, wash our hands and stay away from crowded areas. I can’t imagine having to use >60 or any comorbidity as a contraindication to receiving Icu care - that’s both my parents and most of my extended family...
