Thanks to all @WestSuffolkNHS who over the past 3 days have been involved in the care of @Sophie_Cordell which culminated at 6.04am this morning in the arrival of Florence Ivy, 1st grandchild for @carolacordell & me. All concerned including proud dad @newsie_22 are very grateful

Just received details of our footfall stats for the weekend & as we thought this years @ourburysteds Food & Drink Festival was the best attended of all the 10 we’ve organised since 2012 & Sunday was the single busiest day of any event we have ever organised (BID created in 2010)

Well here’s a very rare sight in @ourburysteds & that is of a genuine Pop Up Shop. This is in the Buttermarket & is home to @artbyfrithy for just this week. John & Katy have worked hard to get this space & I am hoping that other property owners follow the example of this landlord

Just came across an older lady in the Gt Churchyard who was walking quickly.She stopped for a chat & I discovered she is 85. Visited the doctor last year with severe asthma & was overweight. So she started walking daily around the Abbey Gardens & can now jog & has lost 3 stone!

Wow what a great day at the @ourburysteds Food & Drink Festival! Huge crowds, beach packed our new improved Farmers Market on Angel Holl was great & so many new & varied stalls in the Buttermarket. So many stall holders sold out! & many had the best day ever at our event!

popped in to see Rachel & her colleague in @TheBodyShopUK in @ourburysteds to ask her how their fundraiisng for the victims of the fires in Australia were going. She proudly told me that her store has raised the 5th most of any UK Body shops with over £1300 raised so far 😀👏👍

Been in to 5 Angel Hill yet in ⁦ @ourburysteds ⁩ ? Its the revamped Scandinavian House on Angel Hill run by ⁦ @charlieathorne ⁩ & his wife Tanya. Plans in hand I understand to extend opening hours into the evening in addition to continuing to be a first class cafe!

As promised the beach is in @ourburysteds today! Its all part of the Whitsun Fayre. There’s flower & plant stalls, an art & craft market on Angel Hill & loads of free street entertainment and thete’s no entry fee!!

Delighted to hear from a commercial agent today that 4 currently vacant units in @ourburysteds are all likely to have new tenants in the near future. One unit has 3 very interested potential tenants.Its a difficult time 4 town centre businesses but #Burybouncingback

Watching @BBCNews & I am astounded that apparently a huge reduction in the number of Police officers has coincided with an increase in crime & a reduction in the number of offences that are solved. Who would have thought it.
