This @TheSun front page is hugely damaging to ALL victims of domestic abuse, male and female. It is never 'minor' and non-contact conditions are nearly always applied and need to be - to protect victims. Reading this will put thousands off from seeking help. Do they not think?

A horrific example of how false allegations of domestic abuse destroy the lives of men can be seen clearly in this case. 56 days wrongly in jail, being forced to flee and suicide ideation. Our thoughts are with the victim and hope he is getting support.

One of the clearest ever cases of the double standards male victims face. He ends up in prison and loses his job, but his false accuser avoids jail. How can this be right, fair or equal? If the genders were reversed, he rightly would be in jail.

Domestic Abuse cannot be defined as a gendered crime in a fully inclusive, diverse and equality-based 21st century society. It simply does not fit. To continue this view marginalises male (including their daughters) and LGBT+ victims (including women in same sex relationships).
