I can’t stay quiet any longer!
@Conservatives
have failed for the last 5 years and it is time for change! Having stood and been a councillor and candidate it is far from the party of the centre I joined and that is why I am supporting
@Keir_Starmer
and

Was waiting for this! Not at all. I chose to politically retire in 2022. Not on any list for parliament or a council. This is about what feels right so there you go. This is me and I am not actively seeking anything unlike some former MPs!
I’ve got to say this is extremely sad news. I’ve been listening to
@steveallenshow
for years and it really got me listening to the radio over watching tv! I am sorry to see the end of an era. Good Luck Steve in all you do early mornings are never going to be the same again!
Some news from me,firstly thanks for all your questions. My contract with LBC is up shortly and following discussions , I’m stepping down from LBC today I’d like to thank you all for listening over the last 44 years it’s been an honour and a privilege.

Appreciate that. As I’ve said there is nothing in this for me and I have actually alienated friends for having an opinion rather than be a party sheep. But appreciate the view. Thank you
It’s completely unfathomable as to why any British Prime Minister would skip the 80th anniversary of D Day. It’s the job.
If a Labour Prime Minister had done such a thing, they would be shamed for the rest of their political career.
Suella Braverman’s speech in Washington this evening contains a blistering attack on pro-LGBT Tories.
She says the pride (progress) flag has been flown on govt buildings as if marking “occupied territory”, accusing Tory colleagues of supporting a “horrible political campaign”

No. So had I been old enough to vote in 1997 I would have voted Blair. Cameron brought me over and I decided to stand down as I didn’t have a party to follow. I have been lucky to be outside of the bubble to see a lot
Congratulations
@sam_carling_
great result and a lot to do. As my new local MP I’m looking forward to hearing more on what your plans are for the Constituency and meeting you on your rounds.
Thank you so much to everyone in North West Cambridgeshire that came out to vote for me yesterday. I am beyond honoured to have been elected as your MP.
The real work to change Britain now begins! 🌹

No problem at all. It’s helped me explain more than in a few characters why and shows I’m not just going with the polls. I like healthy debate and appreciate being challenged feel free to to do so in the future :)
Another great appointment. Great to see considered appointments and
@Keir_Starmer
really appointing a strengths based government. Loving no more psychodramas!
.
@jessphillips
has spent her entire adult life working for the protection of women and girls. I know I wear a different coloured rosette, but I think this is a superb appointment from Keir Starmer. Well done, Jess. Xx

@benjocavanagh
Hertford and Stortford too. Julie Marsdom is lazy and there is no Tory activists because they were lazy too and wiped out. So hopefully Labour gain!!
@REWearmouth
Completely agree. You always need a balanced ticket, keeps party unity and more importantly keeps a great balance of views which leads to better government!

Thank you, I fear that the centrists are being driven out by CCHQ and only carbon copy candidates are required. Good opposition is important and not just rhetoric so agree. I will say healthy opposition can come from within if it is listened to!
@LBC
@NickFerrariLBC
listening to the PM on your show. He sounds so arrogant and defensive. As a Conservative voter previously he is making me drift to anyone else other than his party. Just the usual sound bites being rolled out!
