Climate change isn't causing anything other than increased yields and more plant food. What's causing food insecurity is depending on the rains for food instead of irrigation, using manure instead of fossil fuels fertilizers, and depending on manual labor instead of machines

But solar is just electricity! My family of 6 uses 12-16 kWh a month because we do lights, charging our phones and the TV/radio! Most families of 6 use 6-8 units a month in rural Kenya. An American refrigerator uses 45 kWh a month! An American family uses about 900 kWh a month!

Sustainable living/farming/development as used today is a scam. It is tied to climate change which means living in grass thatched roofs is sustainable but not living in a mansion isn't. Eating vegetables is sustainable but not meat or drinking milk.

We don't plough our lands, we dig using hoes(jembes). This is my bestie digging. The owner planted ⅛ ha of sugarcane but he couldn't sell. 5 years later, realized losses and decided to uproot it. My bestie is earning $1.50 working from (8-1pm) Labor costs 5 men dug for 5 days

Chinese EVs are largely charged by coal plants. So even if EV sales increase, emissions won't decline. In fact, they will increase because of the increased energy required to manufacture the batteries.

CO2 is life. It has never been and never will it be a pollutant. Plants love CO2 concentrations of 800-1000 ppm and die at 150 ppm. Visit commercial farms and you'll learn that they pump CO2 into their greenhouses for maximum production.

My village gets water from a spring 1 km away and when that dries up, we do another one about 2 km away. In various regions in Kenya, people walk for half a day for water. This is my small bro @GetangeIan fetching water.

After harvesting finger millet, we have to dig our land, manually. We will be planting maize next week. Finger millet straw takes time to decompose but it will eventually. Farm mechanization is currently at <4% in Africa compared to 45% in India, 90% in Europe and 95% in the US.

We had a drought this January, as usual. This one went for a bit longer-over 1 ½ months, it is the longest we go without 🌧️. Our beans died. Most farmers didn't get what they planted as seeds back-zero harvest. Maize died and we had to do gapping when it started raining..

But most farmers did replant afresh. That is costly and most skipped buying fertilizer(DAP) for the second time and planted maize without. We don't top dress our maize over here. No wonder you see 20-30 Kgs of fertilizer per ha compared to 360 China, 250 India, 120 US, 150 EU
