It has been a difficult week. My uncle, eldest of five on mom’s side, a father figure in every aspect, died from new cancer diagnosis last Thursday. I got the call in the middle of an ARRO meeting. He taught me to live life without fear, fully, authentically, & with purpose. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

I’ve trained 10 yrs to be a doctor, been a patient much longer. At 18 diagnosed w #Keratoconus at 22 told I’d go blind. Knocked down but not out. Long clinic week & late flight #ABSBrachy22 w hard contacts resulted in corneal injury. Thick glasses & antibiotics but still here! 💪🏽
