It is such a sad state for care for patients, particularly with #Obesity , when we get excited about them having #diabetes Just so we can get them the care, resources, and medications that they need. We must do better.

An interesting aspect of this is the #PerverseIncentives it creates. Obesity care providers catch themselves feeling relieved when a patient progresses from having only #obesity to having #diabetes , too. Because then, they can get better access to care.
