The cyclist is honestly lucky she survived this. I’ve lost count of how many times drivers have yelled death threats and profanities at cyclists because they’re “inconvenienced” by their presence on the road.

Here is a news story about the driver's assault. According to the victim, she reprimanded the driver for his dangerous driving, at which point the driver decided to try to kill her. The driver fractured bones in her face and the victim may need surgery.

One of the troubling things about the District Dogs flood was how it took three tries to get 911 to react. Imagine calling 911 and not able to get help! I have joined 97 Commissioners in a letter to the Mayor and Council asking to fix this, with several suggested action items.
