When the fog of Brexit clears, one thing is guaranteed - people will come to view the Tories with unprecedented revulsion. Any MP who facilitated Brexit, did not do enough to oppose it, or simply relied on the alibi of a constituency Leave majority won't escape the blowback.

At what stage can the legitimacy of this government be called into question? The failure to respond quickly, the lying, obfuscation, sloppiness, mixed messages, and profound absence of leadership have resulted in 1,000s of deaths. At what moment do we say enough?

We've done 900 days since the referendum - 900 days of wasted time, of psychic and psychological disorder, of posturing and the breaking of bonds and friendships, and - most important - 900 days ignoring climate change and the extinction off species. Brexit is antimatter.

The greatest boost to the radical right has been Labour's failure to properly oppose the government policies or take notice of the majority of labour supporters who are against Brexit. Simply a catastrophic failure of leadership and principle.

Unpopular opinion time! I fear a second EU referendum would be a huge boost for the radical right. The first gave them a massive boost as it is. A second vote would be framed as an Establishment plot to thwart the first, and would be an even more viciously poisonous campaign.

Farewell to #AngelaMerkel A dignified departure with tributes from all sides, befitting of a calm, sober, intelligent, internationalist leader committed to citizenship, culture, science, Europe, and the less fortunate. We desperately need that here.
