Thylacine - also known as the Tasmanian tiger, was a large carnivorous marsupial native to Tasmania, Australia, and New Guinea. Despite their intimidating appearance, they were a shy, nocturnal predator that hunted small prey, posing no real threat to humans or livestock. 1/5
Didymoceras nebrascense - an unusual ammonite from the Late Cretaceous, ~70 million years ago, found in the seas of North America. It was one of heteromorph ammonites, known for their odd shells that formed a variety of strange and complex shapes. 1/3
I hate this video, every time I see it I think about how herbivores like cows can and will sometimes eat small animals like this little kitten, like there was a big chance for this video to be the absolute opposite of cute 😭😭😭
Meet the Blunt-headed Burrowing Frog, also known as the balloon frog (Glyphoglossus molossus)! 📷 This awesome little dude calls Southeast Asia home, and you can find him chilling in tropical seasonal forests, moist savannas, and intermittent freshwater marshes.

Krokorok-a large quadruped, but capable to walk or even run on its hind legs if necessary, it's the apex predator of the Unova desert. Their favorite prey are medium-sized creatures such as Darumakas and Scraggies, however they can form small packs to hunt something way bigger.
A break from desert - Haxorus - A giant bipedal dragon, one of the largest Pokemons in Unova. It lives in forests near caves where it can eat leaves and gastroliths/minerals from the ground. The caves are also a great place to hide for their youngs, usually called "Axews". 1/2
Krokorok is looking for an easy meal, but Sandslash certainly won't be easy to hunt down. Even if it's too late to run and hide, he still has a chance to fend off the enemy, but maybe intimidation will suffice.

First portion of Pokemons today, later I'll post something with more creatures - Sandslash - Distant, way bigger relative of Sandshrew but still sharing similar lifestyle and diet. It lost bipedality due to heavy spikes on its back, now it prefer to knuckle-walk. 1/2
@awhalefact
reminder about that there is many whale species which have various sizes, for example killer whale is just slightly bigger than single human cell
New the worst video what I've seen, guy love killing wild animals because he can't take care of own pets, why the fuck you let your small dog roam outdoor at night without care in area where lives animals that can kill it?? the only who is responsible for this death is you
Next inhabitant of Unova desert - Volcarona - A giant predatory moth-like creature that feeds on the weakest animals in the group, regardless of size. People who encounter this creature says it can "engulf the battlefield in a sea of fire", which is true, in some way. 1/2

As said, Haxorus are great parents, caring for their young until they reach maturity, which happens late, around the age of 30. Hatchlings, called "Axew" are defenseless creatures that, even with the help of a parent, may have trouble surviving the first years of life. 1/2

@Vert_Anatomist
.... it refers only to the look of their skulls, and today we know (thanks to specimens with exceptional preservation) that they weren't like this in life...
Hippowdon - the largest animal of most deserts and swamps. In the desert, it lives mainly near oases, but can survive for long periods without water if necessary. Due to it's large size every predator is rather afraid of it, that's why smaller animals prefer to be near them. 1/2
Flygon - one of the few descendants of an ancient line of hexapod "dragons", especially one of the few who can fly. It lives in deserts, in many regions, despite being quite primitive animal, it's very successful. It is a carnivore, but usually eats already dead prey. 1/2
Kalosian Goodra - one of the biggest gastropods alive, and surely the smartest. Despite being the "smartest gastropod" they're still quite dazed. They have three main growing stages, the first is a larvae, called "Goomy". 1/3
Venusaur - a giant, probably the largest amphibian alive today. They have a strong symbiosis with the plant on their back, the plant gains mobility and a better chance of reproduction, while the animal gets some of energy from photosynthesis. 1/3

Trapinch and Vibrava - despite they look, they're the same animal. The trap is a kind of larva, after reaching maturity, it buries itself, where after some months it grows up, becoming Vibrava. They're hexapods, descending from ancient lineage, which include many "dragons". 1/2
Leaving the Unova Desert behind, the first swamp inhabitant, Stunfisk - A medium-sized mostly plankton eating fish. It spends most of its time at the bottom of the lake, usually covered with mud, eating everything that fell into its mouth. 1/2

After almost a month's break, Scrafty - One of the most unique animals living in Unovan Desert. A medium-sized opportunist who will eat anything. Scrafties live in large groups, where the male with the largest crest is the leader. They're very aggressive and fierce animals. 1/2
This time something cute - Sandshrew - A relatively small creature, similiar to pangolins and armadillos. It's moving on its hind legs - like pangolins or some dinosaurs. Its armor may look strong, but in reality it's very thin, mainly defending it from heat and sandstorms. 1/2
Next inhabitant of Unova desert - Volcarona - A giant predatory moth-like creature that feeds on the weakest animals in the group, regardless of size. People who encounter this creature says it can "engulf the battlefield in a sea of fire", which is true, in some way. 1/2
The first large predator of the swamp, the Quagsire - a giant amphibian. They spend most of the day underwater, hiding from the sun, and only come ashore under the cover of night. They often stand still with their mouths open, waiting for prey to approach. 1/2

Back to the Desert - Dwebble and Crustle, two crab-like creatures closely related to each other. They both are very strong, able to lift something many times their size, such as a rock. Despite being closely related they have different ways to get their "houses". 1/2

What is this? Does anyone remember an episode where Zoe is bitten by a Sea Scorpion?
Hah, maybe she shouldn't have called this female scorpion a "horrible sea cockroach."🤭🤣
Darmanitan - The largest inhabitant of the Unovan Desert. They are omnivorous, but insects make up a major part of their diet, they love to feed on the giant mounds of Yamasks with simple "tools". They prefer to live alone unless they're expecting a child, called Darumaka. 1/2
Yamask-kind of big beetle-like termites, native to Unova and Galar. They form a giant colony that can be described as a superorganism, the largest colonies can number up to millions of individuals. Like other termites they have a "cast system", comparison in next tweet. 1/2
Coming back to Pokemon, Sigilyph - a medium-sized predatory bird, native to the Unova Desert. It feeds on any smaller animal than itself, such as Trapinch and Dwebble. It's a flightless creature, but a good runner, the fastest animal in the Unova Desert, useful when hunting. 1/2

Baxcalibur - a large meat-eating theropod, one of the biggest predators in Paldea. They live in the cold, snowy regions of Paldea, feeding on large animals such as Mamoswine and Avalugg. 1/3
Dunsparce - a medium-sized, almost limbless creature that can be found in almost every corner of the globe, but probably originated from Johto. They are quite large creatures, the oldest and largest individuals can reach a length of over 2 meters. 1/4
Shelmet - a relatively large snail, able to live both on land and in freshwater, mainly in swamps. It is herbivore, feeding on both aquatic and terrestrial plants using its proboscis. It has a unique mechanism in the world of snails - it can close its shell. 1/2

Whiscash - large, even the largest, if we talk about the biggest specimens, inhabitant of the swamps in Unova. They can reach a weight of up to 200 kg and a length of 2.5 meters, however some people claim they've seen even bigger specimens. 1/2
#Pokemon
Seismitoad - A large toad native to the swamps of Unova. They'll eat any animal that can fit in its large mouth, such as Barboach and even Swanny's newborn chick. Despite their aggressive nature, they are really good parents, adult males take care of the young. 1/2
My first diorama based on season 2 of

I'll try to make more of these for every episode (some episodes may receive more dioramas, I NEED to make Beelzebufo)
