Oops, I'm late. But jokes aside, don't you think that finding the preserved face of a non-avian dinosaur in amber would be the greatest discovery in the history of paleontology? To see the face of an animal that no one alive today has ever seen would be incredibly revolutionary.

Funny how we don't use this explanation more often. Even if people question fossil evidence, the simple fact that many of the supposed "living fossils" have many extant species with different morphologies should already be a indication that they do not "disprove" evolution.

The funny thing is that recently there has been a lot of discussion recently about whether unknown/fragmented/nomen dubium species should be given representation, specifically in relation to the interations of Microceratus and Becklespinax from the Jurassic franchise.

I've seen some people comparing the colors of my scorpion to the lesbian pride flag. The truth is, this was just a coincidence and it wasn't exactly my intention... That's why I made another sea scorpion, this one actually inspired by those colors. Here's the two side by side.

What is this? Does anyone remember an episode where Zoe is bitten by a Sea Scorpion? Hah, maybe she shouldn't have called this female scorpion a "horrible sea cockroach."🤭🤣

Remember how worried people were that Suchomimus' teeth were strange, even speculating that it had tusks? Well, as it turned out, their teeth were just very long. Seriously, I understand the arguments for accuracy but sometimes some of you make a fuss over something so small.

giants, such as the recently discovered Jormungandr walhallaensis, named after the World Serpent from Norse mythology. Ah, there's that. They were distantly related to modern lizards, so they still are in way sea serpents... Only cooler.

Something that I've always found curious about the Dinosaur King anime is that in the second season, when the kids travel back in time, we see that the wild dinosaurs have different colorations than the dinosaurs that turn into cards.

A genuine question I have, how do we know that the snout of Suchomimus was really that thin that and that this is not a result of the skull being crushed/distorted by the fossilization process? I know this might be a bit of a dumb thing to ask, but I wanted to be sure.

@KrustaceanPlays The guy suffers from an extreme case of insomnia. I imagine that when the Monsterverse ends, Godzilla will move to the most secluded corner of the Hollow Earth and take a 300-million-year nap leaving the protection of the world to Kong's race.

Deinocheirus - This is another one that was a mystery for a long time, as only its huge clawed arms had been found at first. Many years later, several more complete skeletons were found, and what paleontologists found was simply BIZARRE...

about the animal's "cloaca" of all things... The preservation of this fossil is good at this level and that's why Psittacosaurus is last for having possibly the biggest GLOW UP of a dinosaur in the academic field.

Psittacosaurus - Last but not least, far from it. This is yet another dinosaur that went from a nobody to one of the most important dinosaurs of recent years. Simply, because this must be one of the dinosaurs that we understand the most today.

Deinocheirus possessed an eerily duck-like beak, a long neck with a bulky body, and a large hump on its back. This unusual discovery, from a nobody to one of the strangest dinosaurs ever found, gave him the temporary nickname of "platypus dinosaur."

I discovered that Saurian basically relies solely on volunteer work now and that their former manager had been stealing their funds for 6 years. I just can't believe the same thing that happened with The Stomping Lands and Mesozoica (to a worse degree) happened with this game.

If you're to assume that Ingen used more than frog DNA in its dinosaurs, what other things do you think it was (hypothetically speaking)? Like for example , alligator (Baryonyx), white rhinoceros (Sinoceratops), African elephant (Triceratops) or frilled lizard (Dilophosaurus)...

Helicoprion - This cartilaginous fish was a mystery for many years, as the only fossils of this animal were its saw-shaped teeth. Many hypotheses have been proposed as to how these structures would function, some crazier than others...

Due to fraud being a chimera, the name was seen as invalid... Or at least it would be if, years later, more in-depth analysis of the chimera's skeleton turned out to be different enough to differentiate it from Apatosaurus. Now the name of Thunder Lizard still stands, now with +
