🚨 Sir Jim Ratcliffe on Greenwood.
"We'll try to understand the facts, not the hype".
"We'll use values like is he a good guy or not, could he play sincerely for well, would we be comfortable with it, would the fans be comfortable with it...".
"Then we will decide".
"It's embarrassing. It's a disgrace. That's what it is, a disgrace."
Mikel Arteta is NOT happy with the decisions that went against Arsenal in their defeat to Newcastle 😠
Tonali is a good player, he can do a bit of everything
But he’s not the attacking midfielder to take Newcastle’s game to a new level and he’s not the elite defensive midfielder to play Bruno further forward.
Bar Gordon, Newcastle haven’t got a lot wrong, but this is an overpay!

Been an Everton supporter for 25 years and Anthony leaving hurt me the most. World class on his day and I wish him all the best. Forever a blue.
@SkySportsNews
Been a United fan for 35 years and our current owners have saved the club, there’s not enough respect given to them and I’m delighted they’re staying.
Great news.
Nobody from outside of Newcastle should be allowed in the new stadium though. Let’s create a proper atmosphere away from southern plastics.
EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle to move ahead with St James’ Park expansion plans after conclusion of feasibility study rather than building a new stadium

Remember when we sold Shelvey (who barely played) and the same culprits pissed their pants because we refused to commit to Sander Berge?
Fast forward a few months and we’re in the Champions League and about to sign Sandro Tonali for €70m.
@FosseHub
@MirrorFootball
@LCFC
He’s sensational, will take you to the next level and no NUFC supporter will want him gone. Hes kept Sandro Tonali out of the team since October. He’s worth 10x that but I guess we’ll have to accept with just a year left on his deal.
Newcastle are still in negotiations for João Pedro despite second bid being turned down by Watford tonight. It’s not over, yet - talks ongoing. ⚪️⚫️
#NUFC
Today’s bid was worth £22m plus £3m in add-ons but Newcastle will try to push again.

Been a Sheffield Wednesday fan for 35 years and we didn’t have any problems until Newcastle supporters started complaining about our stadium. Bunch of fannies are responsible for all of this.

Without ever spending money nobody would achieve their objectives but it’s not the sole reason we’re playing well. Joelinton, Schar, Fraser, Almiron, Dubravka, Shelvey, Saint-Maximum all here before takeover and all contributing to our form
He’s been an unbelievable signing.
Some supporters grew impatient with our pursuit of him but the club were absolutely right to prioritise him.
Not sure I’ve seen a better centre back at Newcastle.
@_SeanNUFC
@NUFC360
Controversial maybe but i really fancy there’s a player in there and Howe has improved a lot of our players. It’s hard to justify this opinion but just got a niggling feeling that if he stays he’ll come good
@ftblArran
We’ve got +21 goal difference largely without him. You’re failing to acknowledge it’s our physicality and work rate that is our best asset. Maxi falls short on both of those
@stu1892
Wilson is doing nothing as a lone striker. Isak looks hungrier, has more quality on the ball.
Longstaff put an excellent ball across the mouth of their goal first half and Callum was stood still.

Christianity is taught in schools. I’m not Christian but I accept kids should learn about different perspectives and beliefs because I’m not a caveman.
These are getting a lot of grief which is sportswashing in a nutshell. You’d rather grief this lot than those that behead journalists.
Don’t like it then maybe just move on?
Hi
@72_films
We see you are making a documentary about our club which will "pose 'challenging questions' about the club's relationship with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund."
We hope you'll have time to talk to

Can’t complain about losing at the Etihad but can’t help but feel disappointed with the manner in which we lost.
No belief at any point, wasteful in possession, poor pressing.
Very un-Newcastle performance that.
Gossip:
@NUFC
are said to "admire" their former midfielder
@mikelmerino1
but a bid is unlikely at this stage. Would you like to see him return to St. James' Park? I know I would!

Been a Man U fan my whole life and I’m delighted the Glazers are staying. They’ve stabilised the club during a time of oil money like Newcastle and Man City. We’d have done a Leeds without them.
Trippier is elite. Every game he’s outstanding. For as long as he’s physically capable of standing upright, I want him contracted to Newcastle United as a player
If they won’t back Howe this month then they can’t expect him to shit miracles.
Almost like the club have already written off the season which is pretty disappointing.

The Andrew Tate virgins all rejoicing at a rapist benefitting financially from a divorce is what is so wrong with social media. Giving rancid freak a platform to influence impressionable people is the worst side of it.
@FabrizioRomano
Been a Sunderland fan my whole life and this is the saddest day in the clubs history. Our biggest legend chasing dirty oil money. He’s ruined our moral pursuit of the mags now which is all we have left.
Tottenham are discussing a potential loan deal for Nicoló Zaniolo, including an option to buy — Roma only want permanent deal proposals as things stand. 🚨⚪️
#THFC
Understand Spurs are also prepared to offer one player as part of the deal — Roma want €35/40m fee.
Sorry but this is nonsense. You monitor players in game, no chance is it decided that we have to sub Gordon off regardless of performance or match momentum before 65 minutes because he couldn’t possibly go on.
Gordon was running them ragged.
The substitutions weren't good - but people need to remember that these changes are predominantly based on physical fitness.
Gordon is excellent - but categorically isn't ready to play much more than 65 mins.
He's not there yet physically. It's why Almirón always stays on too.
