The phone call just came...my Dad died this morning. The care home staff have been wonderful. Now I am the only one of the traditional nuclear family who is left, and I hold all the memories of a Mum, Brother and now Dad.

Social Prescibing update…I am being referred to a Nuffield Health Gym for a free 12 week joint pain management course. Then after the 12 weeks, I get another 12 weeks free access to the gym and swimming pool. If I want to continue after, I get half price membership for life.

This time last year I was waking up in a psychiatric ward as a patient for the first time. I was detained for 10 weeks. I am still here, in no small part due to the care I received whilst on Sec. Anniversaries make me think ‘what if’....this is unsettling.

This is our Esme. We put her to sleep at 1pm due to kidney failure. She was a rescue and she was 15. She was a beautiful cat, and we will have fond memories of her coming downstairs at 10pm and stomping around until we went to bed. 😿😿😭😭

@OttolineW A friend of mine, who was high up in hosp management, advised me that if I had anything to do with hosp and wasn’t happy, to see if the trust has a fb page and post on it your experience. Did it with my mum who was dying and had poor care, response from hosp was very swift.💖

So I have had a bit of a crash. After struggling the whole year with depression, I have found out that the main cause is lack of thyroid meds. I thought it was Bipolar depression. So I am staying in bed for a bit. Physically and mentally exhausted. 😐

@SimonNRicketts @SameiHuda My GP has, for the 1st time in his life got 2 dogs. He said he didn’t realise how much love they gave. I told him that is why the poor & homeless have dogs. Coz dogs give you unconditional positive regard, they love you for you, and enable you to love them back honestly.

Had a bit of a wobbly lip moment with the GP today. 🥹She has consistently taken my smi as part of the picture, but not the whole. So has arranged all the relevant tests, and is now researching hrt meds interacting with Bipolar and Bipolar meds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂🙂🙂

Beans is off to the GP this am. I have moved from the space where everything is shitty & I want to die, usually associated with winter & xmas. TY for all your tweets & madtwitter love. Want to try to get some support for us both when these episodes happen. They are frightening🤞🏻

I am realising that today is not a twitter day....too many crit/anti psychs & supporters, who deny my exp of smi & that mh profs, including psychiatrist’s, have saved my life. Impotent rage is rubbish. Off to cuddle dogs, finish jet washing the drive, & shoot things on xbox.🙃🙏

This morning my daily pill box managed to end up in the dishwasher.🤷‍♀️ I take x3 1000mg Omega 3 daily. I had a queue of cats sitting outside the dishwasher. I opened it and a waft of fish came out🤢 FML. Plates report no blunting of emotions after having dose of a/d’s.
