Rest assured folks
@Number10cat
is fine. He's even eyeing up the custodian's tesco shop. sorry for badly cropped 1st pic, was taken on phone and had little time before he wandered off. Pic 4 shows a patch where has a cyst treated (due to old age, not serious)
No pics of the boss today so here's one from Friday. I was messing with
@Number10cat
when the Deputy CMO Jonathan Van Tam arrived, parked up and came straight to me...to pet Larry. Gave him a big fussin'. Loves cats and Larry. Top man.
Happy Twelve years of service
@Number10cat
(also big thanks to Larry's chief slave for getting him out today). Brief stop before going back in for more napping
Busy day for
@Number10cat
He was greeting ppl at the door, posing, snacking and err posing. He just can't help himself (he just knows when there's a meet and greet)
The Polish PM was running late arriving to DS for a meet and greet. and so the Polish media decided to interview
@Number10cat
instead. think he was negotiating for some kielbasa sausage snacks.
Was cooling off in Downing St and then heard an officer at the gate say "and heres the famous cat who lives here". Before I knew it *presto* Like magic the Boss arriveth 😹
So
@Number10cat
hilariously stood at the door, did a stand off with the custodian before going down the street. this was literally a minute before new PM was due and ended up watching him walk up the street.
1) Larry sprinting back to the
#10
door - *click* - here's camera shutter click
2) Stops to slow gallop and pose
3) And then one final pose at the base of the door for good measure.

Colleague made the mistake of unwrapping some food when
@Number10cat
was around who then perched at his feet and then flashed me this look. He knows he's being cheeky.
Had to conserve battery to file all the ministers but finally here's
@Number10cat
slept through the chaos and churn and then provided a masterful rendition of cat in/cat out door fun with custodian for 20+ mins (last 2). the last one he turned to me with the biggest smirk 😹😼
In amidst the four jobs n 12+ hour day, I managed to give Larry a little silver vine powder which he reacted to. only problem is I spilt some on the laptop n well...lets just say he did the matatabi dance n opened dozens of browser windows 🤣. tks to my pal Pete Summers for t'pix
A tale (tail?) in three parts. It started off quietly for The Boss. Just perching on the steps before coming over for some snacks. except he did his jelly belly roll with a gaggle of journalists behind him.
Ignored me this morning when the (not) cabinet meeting happened (pic 1) Come afternoon, he *cough* cleared some space in the front garden and then came for a visit, making sure to keep an eye out for spies.
Shot this a few days ago and mulled over posting it. You can see the shaved spot where Larry's cyst is being treated. Just needs draining every so often and is not serious. Just so you guys are aware and not alarmed. He is 100% fine.
Cats - always great judges of characters as Matt Hancock will attest to. Also very skilful evade from
@Number10cat
The last picture tells a thousand words altho shame I didn't get his full head in.
It was a very wet day spent Photographing shoppers. Got a lil wet and went home to dry off and fell asleep and forgot to post on
#InternationalCatDay
but here's my last phone pic of da boss looking like a boss. Long may he reign.
Happy (tongue out) Tuesday
@Number10cat
. Also deployed the Cat hazard trap on the No 10. steps for cabinet members. Liz Kendall, Hilary Benn, Steve Reed passed the test.
What a long day that was. The Boss came out at 18.45 to re-assure us his position was safe after a long procession of ministers had departed. Then he reminded me of my slave duties.
Hanging with Da Boss. There was a pigeon he was watching hence the crouched attack stance but we both knew he wasn't going to catch him (hence the bemused looks). Thanks to my pal Ray for taking the pic.
