@michael_schlact @CoachLisle Pitching machine swing. Works great when you're 8, not so much against any velocity. Work with him on keeping his hands inside the line and keeping shoulders level. Balance is key

@rmurph_23 @michael_schlact @CoachLisle I am. That swing gives you one point of contact through the zone. Personally I'll take high average line drive hitters over a .150 avg every once in a while HR all day. Line drives turn into backspin HRSs, uppercut swings are outs

Got a feeling we played our last game together today. We're scheduled at 130 pm tomorrow, but there's a 90%chance of tstorms all day. Gotta say, I love these guys. I only hope I've helped them get better for their HS teams, and that they get everything in life they want.

Runner at 3rd, pitcher goes to the windup, I send my runner as soon as he starts the windup. I play for either a safe call or the pitcher to balk trying to throw home. Ive had success with it, but I've been told it's too aggressive. What do you guys think? #ballsout #godevils

So on this field, last Wednesday, @NathannYork hit a baseball that cleared the corner in left center and landed in that bean field about 15 rows deep. That corner is 375 feet from home plate. And that's a 2 lane road. Dude turns baseballs into missiles @TopPreps @IndianaPreps

Watching videos....so many uppercut swings. That swing gives you one opportunity for contact through the zone and yea, if you make contact it goes far, but level swings create line drives and backspin homeruns, higher averages and more help for your team. #work #wenotme

This is who you work to play for. Ive known @wescarroll22 for a while now, & I will tell you, the guys who are talented enough to play there are extremely lucky. This might be the best Coach in College baseball....and if he isn't, he damn sure is the ONE who puts his guys first

To all the young players out there (under college age) Play every spot you can on the field. Get time everywhere you can. What separates players of high ability 99% of the time is baseball intelligence. You get that from seeing every angle you can. Coaches love a multi spot guy!

@CoachHerrera I coach travel, have for years. I rely on HS Coaches teaching bunt, bunt coverage, etc. I have these guys for 8 weeks. Their HS has them all year. My only job is to get them in good tourneys so that they get better for their HS
