No cookbook rules. Your choice depends on the size of the aorta (support needed I.e long sheath) and the catheter curve depends on the LVOT diameter. The key for a good lesion is CF and vector orientation. Chose the tools accordingly.

In EP, and VT ablation physiology matters. 70% chose to perform further substrate ablation techniques which would have failed. Endo dissociated and circuit protected in the epicardium. Think in 3D applying anatomical/physiologic concepts.

One VT morphology induced matching IC ICD EGM. Endo late. Mid diastolic activity in the lateral aspect of epi scar. No LP present in SR. Gold standard for apex imaging is ICE: no clot in the endo aneurysm.
