You have to love it when li'l Richie's video disproves his own theories. First, where's the "down to and up through" barrel path? Second, where's the snap of the rear leg. I'll let
@uTeeBaseball
, also known as Golden Shower Ronnie, answer these compelling questions.
@adater
Seems like sour grapes after a big-time drubbing last night. The Avs were outplayed in every facet of the game. The biggest concern for the Avs is how a team that has perenially lacked speed (Bs) looked vastly quicker to the puck.
Holy smokes.
@uTeeBaseball
was right. The Dodgers are all over

Sean Casey answers in our Show about what he can try to do about Stanton, Rizzo, LeMahieu and Donaldson. Check out the energy and excitement! In full cast talks his career, analytics and why he took this job.

Here's a little secret. At least 10 organizations don't allow their hitters to work with Rich, including 2 AL East teams. And, much to Rich's dismay, the St. Louis Cardinals have banned their hitters from working with Rich.
It's gone from bad to worse for
@Teacherman1986
. In July, TM said Pujols' swing was long and he was "cheating." This morning, 700 HRs and still a force. Now, for the 2nd year in a row, Rich's beloved Cardinals have "strongly discouraged" its prospects from working with him. 😂
Albert Pujols at the All Star break:
.215/.301/.376 (.676 OPS) 6 HRs
Albert Pujols in the 2nd half:
.438/.491/.938 (1.428 OPS) 7 HRs !!!!
The Man has an OPS of .858 on the season
YOU CANT STOP THE MACHINE
Wait . . . I thought the bat was up to speed instantly and on cruise control the rest of the way.
This is the best HLP swing per
@Teacherman1986
yet the greatest bat speed is at contact. Why is Rich's TRUTH constantly being proven wrong?

Isnt the barrel suppose to get up to speed behind your head and smash the catcher on top of the head. Now I’m no video expert but. I know I can read n count numbers. Why’s his bat going faster at the ball?
Here you go

A few years ago, couple of
@Teacherman1986
Twitter adversaries stopped by his pool hall to "talk" hitting. He hid in the kitchen and called the police. True story. Documented. He and
@uTeeBaseball
don't like confrontation.
@Aj_Arroyo_
Players should play summer ball in 95% of the cases. The off-season (October through March) is for player development. A player can't replicate the 200+ at bats that he gets in the summer in a cage. Plus, the competition in summer ball is usually much better than HS ball.
@Zona_Baseball
Trent Otis is a rising star in the hitting business. He knows the game but, equally important, he treats his players like gold and doesn't self promote. Works with as many high-level players as anyone in the business.
We're constantly told by
@Teacherman1986
and his bozo sidekick
@uTeeBaseball
that there's ONE way to swing yet here's a hitter who is the furthest thing from
#HLP
putting up numbers that dwarf any HLPer this year. Looks like the tsunami turned into a light drizzle - again. ✌️
Matt Olson struggled in 2022
He struck out 170 times, most of his entire career, and fell short of expectations after being an All-Star in 2021 with the Oakland Athletics.
However, in 2023, Olson is the best he's been in his entire career.
What changed?
Let's dive in:
This is the Hitting Twitter tweet of the year! Ironic how the gurus on Twitter claim that MLB doesn't know how to teach hitting. Well, here's an MLB hitting coach delivering information that is way above the heads of the supposed gurus. This is TRUTH.

@Teacherman1986
Uh oh . . . li'l Richie has backed himself into a corner now. Let's see if his body can cash the checks that his mouth has been writing. Looks like that rough week that
@uTeeBaseball
predicted was actually for the
#HLP
crew.
@GreggOlson30
@Teacherman1986
Gregg - you'll have to cut Rich a little slack today. The article is about one of Rich's pro clients. The Cubs had to make some changes to his swing because Rich's handy work didn't quite play this year. Tough day for
#HLP
.
@beasley_mi25980
@Teacherman1986
Imagine having the audacity to critique another swing when you are responsible for creating this one. This swing was "created" by
@Teacherman1986
. He can't deny it. Oh my. As Rich would say, it's important to share TRUTH.
@c_perry33
@Teacherman1986
The guy has been fired more times than Billy Martin. He ruined Calhoun, Pederson, Bellinger, Kingery, Reyes, Happ, etc. and they all fired him.
@jscotthitting
It's that easy, huh? Then when are so many guys hitting below .250 in MLB, including most of
@Teacherman1986
clients? A little more to it, bro. ✌️
@mb_meadows
@AcesSangillo
Hmmm . . . notice how the language has changed? Now it's "coil forward a bit so the leg will pull." Not sure how one can lateral tilt over the back of the ball of the femur but coil forward. Goal post moving at its best.

Don't hold your breath but if you give
@uTeeBaseball
a couple weeks, he'll send you a list of the statistical leaders in D1 and tell you that they are HLP. That's how it works - wait for the numbers to come out and then claim them.
There are some high-level hitting instructors in Louisiana. Lot of college players and pros traveling there to train. I noticed that Rosenthal didn't mention St. Charles, MO.
@Teacherman1986
@uTeeBaseball
Here’s the story I wrote in February about Matt Carpenter’s cross-country quest to fix his swing. Carpenter started slowly at AAA, but when he requested his release from Rangers last week had 6 homers and a 1.173 OPS in 68 plate appearances since April 17.
@Eross418
@Teacherman1986
Classic example of Rich attempting to jab another instructor but actually poking a gaping hole in his own teaching. Anyone see ARod's top hand "snapping" the barrel backwards? Didn't think so.
@RunNGun8
@JonHeyman
It's a joke that a 29-year-old player who has missed at least 30% of the season due to injuries in 3 of the past 5 seasons is offered nearly $30 million per season for 8 years? Might want to rethink that.
@cookcoin
@Teacherman1986
You can go to Bass Pro Shops. They have them in the boating department with the rest of the oars. The insider bat is a far superior product.

Anyone notice that Carpenter went to the guy to fix his swing that li'l Richie says can't teach a high-level swing? Wallenbrock. Yup. Most dishonest guy on Twitter next to

uTee Ronnie blocked me years ago. He's definitely an interesting guy. Classic underachiever who is bitter at the world. He also worships Richard and posts a fair amount of sexual content about males and females. I'm sure there's a psychosocial term for that.
@soilfixer13
Ironic that
@uTeeBaseball
froths at the mouth about girls picking HLP faster than boys but I never see any
@Teacherman1986
high-level softball players. I guess they are finding truth with Stance Doctor and the boys in Louisiana.
@ACbaseball4
@Teacherman1986
Richard doesn't produce hitters that look like Freeman, Pujols, or Seager. He never has and never will. He lives in denial. This is a hitter produced by Richard. He won't deny it. It's TRUTH.
@gritnj
@coachJeffR
@astros
Absolutely agree that front foot gets down early with no significant weight but there is zero coiling going on. That's the HLP Kool Aid.
@shegone03
@Teacherman1986
According to
@uTeeBaseball
, cages are for hamsters, so this should take place on a full field. Then we can see how far Richie's "deep gappers" travel. Make him use wood. You could add a second day to include a golf challenge with uTee Ronnie.
@uTeeBaseball
Highly agree with the theme of this message. Positivity and production are among the chief reasons that Lorenzo from
@GRADUMBASEBALL
and Trent from
@Zona_Baseball
are being sought by established pro hitters and aspiring amateurs. No one more in demand.
@HittingDude

Schenck has no place in this argument. Has never produced a high-level softball player. Not 1. The guys down in Louisiana have college record holders, All Americans, USA National players. Schenck is way behind. He can't compete. And he knows it.
@Therizman38
@uTeeBaseball
Ron claims that he (and his 81 mph fastball) was being recruited by Yale before a very unfortunate "wrist" injury at home plate occurred. LMAO. He gets🤥🤥🤥for that tall tale.
This hasn't aged well for
@Teacherman1986
. Aside from his takes that Xander Bogaerts is low-level and Wander Franco would struggle against AA and AAA pitching, is there any worse analysis out there? Especially from a guy who says he "see things that others don't." LMAO.

Pretty darn close, Les. The only differences I see are that Alonso puts the tee farther ahead than Rich does and his legs are together, with no mention of a stretch. Seems like his sole purpose is to stay inside the ball. Agree with you that the principles are generally there.
@WFANMEMES

has been fired by more big leaguers than any instructor in the country. Bellinger is having a bounce back season after cutting ties with TM last year.
