I will not discriminate against any player in my organization at this age. EVERYONE is trained as a middle infielder, working through agility & footwork patterns. U just never know what will happen when they hit there man bodies. So why not train them equally to boost confidence

I have pounded the ideology of learning how to swing the bat at a young age & refusing to go up to the plate 👀 for a walk. Little Mike took it to the extreme but my man wanted to see another pitch to get a chance to HIT!!

We MUST 1st learn how to move before we add the frenzy. If you don’t know how to arrange the body in order for it to properly move in time & space, how do u expect to be a consistent hitter against great pitching? Move well=Hit well & be more consistent!

We warm up with some sort of🦶agility drills to get their feet primed & ready to fire 4 our throw/field routines. The amazement begins as they grow in confidence w/there footwork. Smooth 🦶= great actions & soft hands. We never throw to warmup=NEVER!

I lost my partner, my very best friend who I trusted my life with for the last 13 yrs today. We talked everyday through his time of struggle to help him cope w/his pain. Life in perspective, this hitting nonsense of who is right or wrong is really not that big of a deal.

At the request of my followers: 3/4 inch PVC 3/4 deep socket to attach handle & barrel. 1” PVC coupling. The middle of which has to be filed out to allow it to slide along PVC. 1”* 3/4 pvc Bushing to 🛑 the coupling. 1”cpvc coupling to add support at the end. Cement glue!

Give them the blocks & while they’re building it give them nothing but words of encouragement on their efforts. Never judge them on the results! You will be amazed how quickly these little dudes 6u-7u will get to work attempting to figure it out.

In my program, I train everyone as a middle infielder. I feel it’s important to develop great footwork patterns at a young age, therefore at the next level regardless if they play the infield or not there footwork developed early will get them to the ⚾️ in the correct manner.

Young athletes have a hard time understanding how to feel chest-nose over toes with butt cheeks back over heels…. Working the 4 corner box drill maintaining posture inside of the box as they skip the 🪨 around. Several reps around will help them feel posture over.

Andrew (9u) focus on stretching away from our contact point. His response in his own terms as the following is completely insane. “This gives us more time to swing, if I push my barrel forward I would have less time”. Move free, stretch against your momentum & snap your hands!

The GAME starts from the ground up! I’m so adamant in breaking these kids down by Developing their feet by over doing their actions. Run full speed, chop (stutter step) into a brace right-glide left fielding triangle set up. After rolling them out, get on time with soft fungos.

Crushing my son & Tyler with feels tonight. Fuse the unit with fishnet stop 🛑 swings. Turn to catch deep in order to complete the catch. Over doing the back pocket working in the direction to the pitcher. Tyler in 😭 the feels were severe. 😆

Two (2) points stretched against each other to create instantaneous bat speed!!! We don’t push forward to time the pitcher. We learn to develop stretch/controlling our rear hip function in order to be adjustable. Control the rear hip to get on time more consistently.

We have to learn to allow our lower half to run 🏃! As it runs, we have to counteract that movement by pulling back with our scap. If we are inconsistent with our load, we will never consistently be able to get on time. Find success in learning & improving! Our LOAD is our SWING!

Infielders throw out different arm angles for a reason… it’s the quickest way to deliver the baseball… when they pull the ball out of the glove they utilize there lat in order to create a hinge immediately to get rid of the ball with a quick tight hand turn over. Same as we

Why, with all the hate on what we do? Cause we use diff. tools to build a new pattern? We tag our students, so b/4 you blast her, maybe dm & ask her how she feels. Ask them if they have ever felt tighter & cleaner in their movements. 5 month transformation by using diff. methods

Add. info regard the article I posted today on how Babe Ruth felt coiled around his rear 🦵. With the aid of 🏌️‍♀️ pivot pro & a driveway marker, they help develop a strong coil against the leg to build a corner. They need to understand how this aids the barrel to feel weightless.

The back arm has to hold until as it works inside the path… If it goes outside the path it will never go through the path… The hitter can never RECOVER from first going outside…
