The secret is out. I bought a 2011 Peugeot Hoggar Escapade 1.6 BioFlex across the ocean in São Paulo. Briefly it's the European 206+ model we never got in the UK, with a pickup backside including a 650kg payload suspension borrowed from the Partner van.

I'm bruised all over, I keep pinching myself.... No real opportunity today to do more checks on it as I was working, however I did get a front wheel off. Good news, very meaty pads and discs, new looking drop links and even the suspension and alloy gearbox casing looks spotless!

2) #Peugeot 3 series - 306->307->308 Peugeot's golden years came to a fairly swift halt with poor design choices proven by most models needing styling updates to try and sort out the awful mess. It never really worked and the original 306 essence was lost.

Am I allowed to have a palpation over what's just arrived? The oldest Peugeot here so far, and probably the rarest.... A mark one 1981 Peugeot 305 GLD estate. 305s are rare anyway, let alone a pre XUD engine 1548cc diesel with the legendary 90 degree fan belt set up! @PSCUK_

First drive since MOT, a few miles to top up the fuel. All seems well so far. Booked it for a new set of Michelin Crossclimate 2 to be fitted tomorrow then on to the gathering at Atwell-Wilson motor museum in Calne. Meet runs from 4pm to 9pm.

Following on from @nickinnocent CX post the aggressive 505 cabriolet was such a missed opportunity by PSA. Perhaps there was a shortage of tan leather? Not measured it but a @Carpervert Tesla pan-o-plonk would be stunning too.

Here's an oddity. Whatever happened to the oval country stick that were usually given away for free with the business logo on them, like P&O, Eurotunnel? Not that I can't afford the £2 for a generic unbranded (UK) one it seems part of history and looking back at retro cars now.
