What a disappointingly populist attack. I get it that you have to lay into the opposition but lay off the young people of this country.
@CharlotteCGill
You’ll be ‘right. London fabulous (but bring your brolly because “summer” may be overstating it this year) and not a single silly billy (outside TalkTV HQ) wearing a panty liner on their head. Only disorder I have seen is the indecent haste when a new till opens in Waitrose.

And because of a lack of interest of No 10 in the International event not only Sunak was invisible but the U.K. as a whole and the contributions of over 60000 U.K. troops went insufficiently represented.

It is possible to feel sympathy without excusing his actions. Not the app usage or the picture - he is a grown man and can do what he likes with other consenting adults - but the reckless disregard for colleagues and potentially national security.
@SaulStaniforth
I mean if you were going to pick a poster boy for your cause you might want to choose someone likeable. Or who didn’t speak in every interview in the same way he tried to bully a copper. But then I remember this is Braverman and her cause and it makes sense.
@bbclaurak
It’s 2024. Women can drink, smoke and make jokes without being singled out as a freak. But on reflection I think what you mean is “working class”.
Today is Ukrainian Independence Day, with the declaration of 1991 one of hopes, thoughts & dreams.
Ukraine will always be a democratic nation, even if brutal & barbaric actions try to reverse her independence.
Today, let’s think of Ukraine & her people.

Jeez. I don’t care what he does in his private life. But this is potentially an act of espionage he has engaged in. What else could he have given away.

Sold on a lie. Negotiated by muppets. And against the will of Scotland, Northern Ireland, London and most of our great international facing cities (+ plucky old Tunbridge Wells). And look where it got us. Come on 🇬🇧. Hand this arrogant prick his arse on 4/7.

If his judgment is wrong then it can and surely will be appealed. If it is a correct application of the law and sentencing guidelines then write to your MP. But I find these Daily Mail “enemies of the people” attacks on individual judges deeply concerning.
She worked there for six yrs between 2000 + 2006 doing these roles:

2002-2003 British Embassy Washington DC, Second Secretary Economic division
2004-2006 Structural Analysis Economic analysis division
Took 10 secs to find out.

Because we need to fund the actual army to defend us using that money rather than coming up with a YTS in khaki to give your boomer readers the first non viagra hard on they have had in years.

It amazes me that the private prosecution rights existed at all in this form and it stuns that they did without institutional checks and balances and in the hands of moral and intellectual lightweights like this man.

Ask them if they are tracing back reporting of metrics. I heard Thames Water could not provide evidence that many of theirs are correct. About as reliable by a Fujitsu system.

Your team in Kingston did a fantastic job on my aged watch. It was becoming uneconomical to replace the battery through the manufacturer and it took too long to send it away. An hour later I have a lifetime battery package and can wear it again.

As someone of mature years I see a trend in friends and family becoming more centre/left wing as they get older. Mr Barbara used to be called “Tory boy” when we met but in his dotage he has become a fully paid up member of the Guardian reading, LBC listening wokerati.

More impressively, the Labour Digital team were so well drilled that when the GE was announced they activated their pre rehearsed plans ….whilst the Tory Digital team were resetting their Ladbrokes passwords.

Rishi Sunak taking a brave approach to small talk at a brewery in Wales.
He asked workers if they're looking forward to 'all the football'. One quickly pointed out that Wales haven't qualified for the Euros 😬

I am sorry to hear that Tom. My dad died over 30 years ago when I was in my early 20s and just starting out in life. Now from my great age I realise that you never really get over losing your dad but the memories become happier and the pain a little less.

has taken a great big chunk out of Houchen’s majority and run him close enough to expose more of this sorry tale. This will keep Sunak in (good for GE) and the can of whoopass around Houchen well and truly open (good for Teesside and U.K.).

Harrowing. But not because this is a surprise. We knew it was happening, we saw some images of it. But vastly unreported whilst some bloke in London whipped up a media storm because a sensible copper wouldn’t let him create a public order problem.

Particularly interesting when some of the lines from Conservative sources suggest that the new government doesn’t bring with it ministerial experience.

The very worst candidate and the worst time. London is better than people like Susan. But the Tories have rigged the voting system again to give her a chance. They had better hope she doesn’t get in because she is going to be a massive electoral asset to Labour and the LibDems in

I briefly listened to BrexitCast. Or Newscast. I can’t remember which. But it was filled with LK reading out the contents of her WhatsApps whilst the fanboys masquerading as co-presenters told her how amazing she was. She ain’t no John Cole.
