If you’re looking for a way to help the flood victims in NC but you’re far away and can’t get on the ground or deliver supplies, may I humbly suggest donating a few dollars to Paul and Photini. I’ve known them for years and our daughters are best friends.

@zoomertea That’s a young person’s notion for sure. I’m going to be blunt. When my mom was sick my dad had to change her colostomy bag. As she was dying, as he held her hand, she was vomiting bile. Marriage isn’t for the squeamish. Folks need to suck it up. It gets worse than unwashed hair.

The milk mess that Matt Walsh stepped in today demonstrates that the country is still divided against the same lines it was in the Civil War; the industrial people who want to live in cities and make the rules for everyone and the rural folks who want to be left alone.

When something as large as Helene hits you can’t save everybody and it feels overwhelming. This is a good reminder as to why you should be part of a close and tight knit community. It will narrow your focus and make you actually helpful if you know what your priorities are. And

Just learned the decision has been made to NOT send the State Guard to Greenville to help with relief efforts!

GM Appalachia! I know for many of us it doesn’t feel like a “good” morning. I’m praying for everyone but the great thing is WE are Appalachia and there’s no better place to be when the chips are down 💪

Noticing something - those of us who live in the disaster-stricken area are extremely tired today. The adrenaline has worn off and exhaustion is mingling with grief. Please pray for our endurance.

@LibertyHangout I live in the Appalachias -one of the fullest & richest cultures on earth. That's not just my opinion, that's according to anthropologists. Our language, our dress, our cabin style, our food, our agriculture, our music, our dance. America has many rich, regional cultures.

GM Appalachia! It’s another “smookey” October morning. We are praying for all the rescue workers, lineman and medical staff this weekend. 🙏 Miracles are coming!
