After facing a 1200 rated opponent in one of my speedrun videos, I had the audacity to call him a 'cheater' for scoring 97.8% in a game that lasted 50 moves. Today, not only he is not banned, but also managed to take down my YouTube video. Quite scary...

Easy solution for cheating in online chess: -just make anyone who crosses 2500 blitz submit documents and stop allowing multi accounts After completing many speedruns, 2500-2800 feels to be the dirtiest elo... What am I missing?

@fourestchess @AlexBanzea If d4 then what does white do? If O-O, Qd5 threatening the pawn and mate. White made a huge mistake not protecting the d4 pawn with c3, so they are going to suffer for it no matter which recapture we make, but I think improving the bishop is the way to go.

Going to add this funny line to my @chessable course. It is not objectively better than the standard c3-d4 plan, but it can take a lot of people by surprise (myself included). Great suggestion by one of the students of the course!

Is there a 300-move limit on @lichess ? Opponent didn't resign so I thought I'd have some fun by going for the longest game record. But the server suddenly declared a draw... No stalemate, and not the 50-move rule (last pawn push on move 295). So confused 😅🙈 #300 #chess
