This is probably the best release since 0.7.2 Together with these little ones, are a number of small improvements that add up to a really cool dev experience. Makes me feel smart, I like it

Remember that ZK allows you to prove you know stuff without saying what? The latest release of Noir allows you to prove a msg was signed by your private key. You don't reveal anything besides the (public) message 🧑‍💻 Looks complex? Not with Noir. Here are 10 lines of code 👇

@kayprasla We went with @NoirLang as a SC language because Solidity's syntax is full of things that are very EVM related and don't mean much for ZK. I guess same applies to other projects that have very different architectures and wouldn't benefit from Solidity. Like Solana or Cardano

Started getting up to speed with Noir and it's impossible to dislike it after working with other DSLs. Noir is definitely the most readable, easy zk language. It feels like writing some Rust, adding some constraints, tweaking a few things, and BOOM you have a zk circuit

Excellent introduction to developing in ZK's and especially @NoirLang ! "Noir feels a bit like cheating compared to the other languages, since it abstracts away most complexities related to ZKPs, and feels like writing regular Rust code."

@levelsio @JohnnyBig0des Why do you even try. This guy has no idea. You get some nice, decent coders in Portugal, and you can rely on them to build stuff with relative reliability. But any 10x engineer very quickly finds a job outside, gets 5x salary, and works remotely.

@DCbuild3r @fede_intern Not having proofs is not just “a downside”, it’s like hopping on a bike with a diesel motor and say you’re driving eco. A trust me bro chain has zero upsides compared to an open mongo database
