Citroen and Peugeot once did a very clever - at least on paper - urban hatchback that didn’t need a panel behind the rear door. Just a light, a filler cap and a bumper. Then they never did it again, and I often wonder why.

@Aperta It's so much easier to do that now in good teams, with 23 races a year, compared to seven in the 1950s. Even Bottas is ninth all time. Kimi Raikkonen, for example, has driven in a third of all the F1 races ever held, and Alonso will pass him at the end of this season.

Seven-year, ground-up restoration and my friend Marco Makaus has his @renaultgroup 4 back! He bought the ‘79 model new in 1980 and has had it since. Now it has a new chassis under it and everything is either new or reconditioned. And it’s just lovely.

My local bar on #cernobbio still rocks a 1962 #faema E61. It started the global espresso/cappuccino boom, as the first machine with a volumetric pump to give the water a constant 9-bar pressure during the whole extraction process. And it’s still in daily use. Still working hard.

@_Angry_Engineer 2015 was the only year that Hamilton lead the championship from start to finish. Schumacher did it four times (94, 01, 02, 04) twice as many as anybody else), but nobody complains about that era. Also, Peak Hamilton lead 53.9% of laps in 2020. Jim Clark lead 71.5% in 1963
