This is the Baojun Yep (built by GM in China) and it is now the greatest car ever made. It's like a Suzuki Jimny but smaller and it's fully electric! It can go 188 miles on a charge and only costs $11,240. THIS is the EV we should have in the US!!!!! Forget the Hummer!

I'm not going to lie, it did NOT think the Acura Integra Type S was worth $7,000 more ($52k) than a Honda Civic Type R... until I drove it. The suspension is more livable, the seats are more comfortable, and the exhaust is SO MUCH louder. I'm going to try to buy one next year.

Volvo (NOT Tesla) will actually sell a $35,000 EV in the US!! 275 miles range for FWD, only a 10-mile drop for the dual motor. Single motor gets 268 hp, dual will be the quickest Volvo EVER with 422 hp (0-60 mph in 3.4). This is an instant winner! Other brands need to copy.

Credit to Toyota for having a base model Tacoma SR available to drive. This truck starts at $31,500 but you still get push-button start, wireless CarPlay, adaptive cruise, and 228 hp. I'd probably spend $33,700 to get the Double Cab but this is a lot of truck for the $$.

There has not been a new Lexus GX since I was in middle school, but this was worth the wait! 349-hp twin-turbo V6, 10-speed auto, and a hybrid coming later. The new Overtrail trim looks SICK, kind of like a Japanese G-Wagen or Defender. I'm in LOVE!!!

Let's talk about how STUPID GM is to kill off the Bolt. Without the last 3 months of sales, Bolt had its best year EVER in 2023. This is an EV that costs only $26,500 BEFORE the tax credit. NOTHING on sale (or in the pipeline) is even close. A replacement isn't due until 2025.

My local Hyundai dealer is selling the Ioniq 5 with a $3,000 markup. For that you get a home charger install and something else the salesperson said she forgot. Not too bad, right??

Story time. Ford does make an electric F-150, but this ain’t it. A police officer walked up as I was plugging in and I asked if he was going to give the driver a ticket. He asks why. I said, this isn’t an EV and it’s in the EV spot. He just walked away.

I honestly forgot how good the Audi S8 is. Some of the softest suspension on ANY car, simple controls, and actual BUTTONS for many functions. Is it as flashy as a BMW or Mercedes? No. But not everyone wants flashy. This thing is just stupendous.

The new Lincoln Nautilus is kind of a game changer. Not just because of its MASSIVE 48-inch screen, but this is easily the best built Lincoln I’ve been in. Feels like a Lexus and drives like one too. Funny part about that it’s built in China. Guess Chinese cars are pretty nice!

A message to anyone doing EV reviews: A Tesla Model Y now starts at $67,990 with no tax credit. A Hyundai Ioniq 5 is $39,995 plus $7,500 in incentives. These are NOT comparable vehicles. You wouldn't compare ICE cars with a price difference like this, so don't do it with EVs.
