@GergelyOrosz I wanted to cancel my Adobe plan. Signed up to yearly. Ok, fine. Turns out, it couldn't even be cancelled with <1 month to run through online self-serve. Had to contact customer support,repeatedly, to get it done. Feels like the dark pattern to keep billing goes deep.

@johanknorberg The big kicker is housing costs: pre-2000s, houses were, what, 2-3x yearly earnings? Now they are out of reach for most. Disposable income matters little if the primary thing that will make you feel rich, a family home, is not possible.

@danbarker I sold my London flat in 2014 after I read the fine-print and realised 10 years after construction the management company could double the service charge every 2 years without justification. It was about £3K/year when I sold, 2 years before the doubling cliff.
