The most high performing academics I know are not particularly fit people and don't waste much time exercising. It's just that "lift weights" is easy advice to give and follow, while "find a way to engage emotionally with your work to the point of obsession" is not.

Sunday I suffered a very traumatic injury. I dislocated my shoulder in an accident and I’ll be honest, it was bad 0/10 do not recommend. It was an emergency and an ordeal. The ordeal I did not expect.. getting @Discovery_SA to pay for it as the emergency AND PMB that it was/is.
