@sdw To me it just feel wasteful. Like the most eco-friendly thing you can do is to keep using items. Even gasoline car that runs for 40 years is in many ways more "eco" than newly done electric one. Merging pro tools could've been expressed friendlier with 3D or non-realistically.

Few people notice it, but on my site I use blurry, animated rectangles as an "idea" metaphor. That's how I think about early ideas — they are blurry, shapeless, don't have hard edges, they can stay or go, they change colours and move around. I love intentional blur.
